My skin tone is very light i.e. It burns on a cloudy day. This was recommended by my dermatologist.
Smells just like the namebrand stuff only cheaper I love it!
Fairly priced sun screen needed for Arizona sun. 50 is just right for the body - 100 just right for the face.
We were running low and needed more in a jiffy! You can't beat the value and quality of this product! An outdoor summer staple! Great protection! Goes on smooth! Lightweight, but nice coverage too! Go and get you some!
This has been well rated by testing authorities so I think it's good in that regard. When it says Sport that means it is very thick and harder to apply, but I assume that means it lasts longer through sweat and water. The Ultra is smoother and easier to apply.
I uusally purchase NO-AD Sun Care 45 SPF but not offered online by Walmart so tried the Equate SPF 50. Equate product is a good price. I would suggest they put a larger hole in the dispenser since this product is very thick and hard to squeeze out so I just take the entire top off and it works better. It goes on the skin fairly smooth for such a thick product and distributes well with a little rubbing.
First of all, the product did not come with a protection slip. If the bottle cap had accidentally opened during the shipment process, I believe the sunscreen would've spazzed out. Secondly, this is not your average lotion. The sunscreen is very hard to squeeze out and the consistency is of a slender like toothpaste. However, looks can be deceiving. Although the lotion came out as a paste, it surprisingly spread out well and evenly. Finally, I think that this sunscreen is pretty amazing. It does in fact rank pretty high on the protection scale just under Trader Joe's sunscreen. I would definitely recommend this for terms of quality, quantity price and protection. The only down side is that it comes without a protection seal and will take quite the man power to actually squeeze lotion out. Below I have provided some pictures. Hopefully this review was helpful to you.
I have been using this product for years with total satisfaction. My last bottle contained lotion so thick I could barely squeeze it out of the bottle. I assumed it was a product defect and was issued a refund. Tried two new bottles and they are the same. Spreads more like a cold cream. No one can tell me if this is a problem or a new suspension. Any information would be appreciated because so far none is available.
I tried Equate Ultra and Equate Sport. I really like Ultra, but the Sport version is nearly impossible to squeeze out of the tube, and it left a white, pilled residue. I thought maybe it might be an expiration issue, but there is no expiration date on these tubes (another problem), so who knows? I would definitely not recommend this.
Not sure what the problem is, but this lotion is very lumpy and difficult to get out of the tube. Never had this problem, though I have seen two other reviews where customers had the same problem.
