i am a dental hygienist and i have to say, these generic replacement brushes for the oral b IO are great. the last ones i ordered from Amazon claimed to be and looked just like real oral b IO replacement heads but they were sooo loud and not very soft. these are so so softandi dont think theyre loud at all. so far they have been great and i would definitely recommend to my patients
The charging of the unit does not take long. The brushes, spin and vibrate in my small mouth. The maneuverability is good. I'm able to clean my teeth and they feel clean.
fits fine on IO toothbrushes but does not work as well as OEM. the reason is that the vibrating mount is plastic vs metal on thr original ones, so does not vibrate nearly as well. you would be better off buying a manual toothbrush.
This uses a different mechanism. A real Oral-B head uses very strong little magnets to drive the rotary action. This brand does not. It uses a spring. That's one of the reasons it doesn't cost as much. This brush head does not rotate consistently when it is being used on your teeth. And the pressure monitoring system of the brush handle (IO2) was impaired.
Not good at all. The bristles are not angled like the originals which makes a huge difference in the brushing ability. Doesn't feel like the brush is oscillating at all, even though it is. More noisy as well. I tried these for three brushings then ran out to the nearby grocery store to overpay for the brand name ones. These are that bad.
You know when you go to brush your teeth and your toothbrush battery is dead? Yea that's what it feels like using these generic replacement heads. Surprised these have 3.9 stars. I give this 0 stars. Nothing like the real brush heads. Doesn't even vibrate the same, and the only reason I accepted them as a substitution was because it had mostly good reviews. Yeah no.
I don't know how this has such a high rating. after using the brand name brush heads, this is completely worthless. They leave a big gap between the head and the brush and it is NOISY. The bristles don't do anything. I feel like I need to use it manually to even be slightly effective. I gave it a couple of days before going back and ordering the brand name replacement heads. I bought two of these, and I wish I could return the one I already used to get my money back. This is definitely a waste of money, and now a waste of time too because I'm returning the second one I bought. You definitely get what you pay for in this instance. I usually am pleased with Equate products compared to name brand, but not this time.
I didn't receive this item along with two other items. They were delivered to another unit in our neighborhood. Despite the detailed instructions I have left in the notes to assist with delivering, drivers still cannot find the correct house.
I agree with the other reviews. spend the extra money and get the regular IO brush heads. these are terrible, doesn't feel like it's cleaning, wasted 25.00 should have read the reviews before purchasing
Fits the brush fine, but the bristles are so soft the electric movement is wasted. Effectively turns your electric toothbrush back into a manual brush.
