EverStart Automotive 300 Volt Digital LCD Multimeter, 10711WDI, New, 11 inch

I've used this to test by car battery and it worked like a charm. Tomorrow I'm using it to troubleshoot my dryer. This is an incredible amount of tool for a very low price. The battery included is a big plus too. I'd highly recommend this to anyone just to keep around the house for troubleshooting.

This device tests a variety of electrical settings to include dc, ac, amp, volts and ohm settings. It tests from high to low ranges. It does require a 9-volt battery to operate. There are two tiny screws that must be removed to insert the battery. The top is attached with a kind of slide in clip set up. Seems like a good item so far.

I bought this multimeter because my child had a science project that required it to measure electrolytes in various drinks, fruits and vegetables which by-the-way all have an electrical charge, who knew? After attaching two copper wires we were able measure it. Turns out, if you are dehydrated, V8 original is the best drink, coconut water came in second place and Gatorade came in third. We have another experiment coming up where we can measure the effectiveness of a popular health mystery about ‘grounding' to prevent the human body from becoming overcharged from electro currents such as static electricity. Very handy gadget for students to learn about electrical energy at the micro levels.

Excellent, does the job beyond measure.

For the most part, it seems to be a very nice unit exception of the fact that when checking continuity, it does not beep if I would have known that I would not have bought this unit the beeping continuity for any do it yourself or is a total necessity for that reason I cannot recommend this unit

Had to order very small screw driver to open back. I didn't have any small screw driver at home. Besides that all perfect.

The product works as intended, but compared to others, it dose not have audio bell alarm and the price is higher that others

It does the job by the description and details could be better. This device doesn't have several modes and the modes it does have it does not provide a sound when using the device to check certain statuses.

There is no backlight. There is no sound. The connection probes drop out of the unit if you turn it over. They are stiff so it is hard to keep them apart. Trying to get a connection is quite difficult as the probes are VERY insensitive. So, you WILL think there was no charge, but in reality there is. However, if you test several times you probably will get a correct reading. So, they need to supply you with another hand.

I need to return it did not work. I put battery in and it started up. I went to use it next day and did not work
