EverStart Plus Auto Auxiliary Dual 12 Volt Power Outlet, Black

Power Outlet is for under dash or under counter application. It is equipped with 14 AWG pigtails and is rated for 15 amps, 12 volt DC. The lead is equipped with a forked connector, the - has a female quick connect spade. I had to change both to satisfy my installation. Mouting screws (2), are also included. For the price, this outlet is a good deal.

Good component. Water resistant cover is very thin and not likely to last long in the elements (years?). Wiring should be longer, and at least have spade terminals vice ring. Probably even better if it were designed with spade connections on the back, and the wiring provided to connect to those.

doesn't provide an adequate connection with plug in devices. too much play inside plug.

This item is manufactured so poorly that with 60w appliance plugged in, it melted and the short circuit nearly started a fire in my motorhome!! There was no problem with the wires suppling power and no damage to the wire from the appliance. I installed it correctly and upon examination it was clearly not made correctly.

It wasn't what I expected! It didn't work in my car. Had to reorder 2 more car adapters.
