I absolutely Loved these seeds they germinated well and now they are outside in my flower garden growing wonderfully... thank you Walmart y'all never let me down

Scarified (sanded) the three seeds' hulls and dropped them in an inch of water three days ago, and one has already sprouted. The other two are not as hard as they were, so I expect them to pop out too.

These Quality seeds, are a great way to bring back plants that use to be around more in the Michigan area!

Received on time but haven't had the opportunity to germinate, yet.

This product is different from many. Nelumbo seeds have a thick, hard seed coat that requires careful scarification. I followed advice from a number of sources and sanded or ground (careful not to heat the seed) a bit of the outer seed coat, placed the seeds in fresh water, and am keeping them indoors where the temperature ranges from 60-70F.It has only been a few days since the soaking began. So far, I have seen no changes. It may take weeks for the seed to absorb enough water to start the process of germination.That is fine with me! Starting from seed costs less in exchange for requiring more effort, patience, and perhaps a little luck.

Arrived in a timely fashion, at a good price.Now to sprout them...Lotus are pretty easy to sprout from seeds, and this was the best place I found to get them.

Product arrived well packaged, in good condition, and promptly. Now all I have to do is grow them successfully!

Have been waiting for them to sprout in water for months. Could not even nick them, the pods are so hard.
