400sf Condo lawn, not acreage. Worked without clogging once and weed n feed granules spread perfectly. Arm brace allows consistently flat spread and maintaining crank rpm. Flow of granules is adjustable by setting control on body. Sturdy enough. Simple rinse when done allowed inside storage in the utility room. Can’t beat the price. If the weed killer works and the feed creates new growth, well, that is a different review.

the arm attachment makes it easy and comfortable to use. i like the flow adjustment and use it for tons of different things from grass seed to fertilizer.

This spreader came almost completely pre-assembled. There was just one piece - the arm rest - that had to be attached, and it was simple enough. I used it to spread weed and feed. It took fifteen minutes at the most to do the whole yard. Compared to spreading it by hand - which took me over two hours - this was an amazing improvement. It spreads nicely and it gets a pretty large area. I wasn't sore afterward, not even my arm or back. It didn't feel heavy to carry around the yard. When the granules got low in the device, it helped to tilt it back a little to keep the granules moving through. It wasn't really a problem, just helpful to know when using it. Definitely happy I made this purchase.

this is wonderful and very easy to use.

Its fine for the price but has a small design flaw with allowing granules to pass thru the back side of spreader--not a major issue but still a design issue.

inexspensive spreader but does not work well with rock salt to melt ice hole to spinner is too small

They sent me used and dirty item. I have seen other reviews saying it, but I did not believe. Well, it happens that it is true. They send you USED and DIRTY item. So gross

While the item was delivered on time, as promised, my real concern is that the bag containing the pesticide Eliminator had a huge rip in it, allowing for it to spill. A Walmart representative (unknown) had put a piece of tape over the rip, but it was not sticking well to the bag. My concern is for myself, the delivery person or whoever else may unknowingly come into contact with this poison, possibly causing them harm. I bring this to your attention for their safety. I picked up the spreader and that’s all I got. I did not get that arm peace with it. The unit comes in two pieces. I’m taking back the unit today.
