This was so easy to set up with just adding the wheels. It's a nice solid plastic that will last for years. I really like the watering option to keep water off the leaves and only water the plant roots. My tomato's are going to have a hearty season in this box. I will be able to move them around on the wheels. It will be easy to fill with different plants every year.
I love these planters. They're $10 cheaper than the main competitor but they're exactly the same. I never have a problem growing anything out of these. Super easy to set up.
Very easy to assemble, sturdy and easy to move around in case you need to "follow the sun." It's deep enough for root vegetables and can be planted in the "square foot" garden style. It's hard to see in the pictures, but there are overflow slots on two sides, so that you cannot overwater. I do a lot of vegetable gardening and this is perfect for greens (kale, spinach, lettuces, etc.), most root vegetables, including beets (some carrot cultivars might be too long, but shorter varieties would work perfectly), dwarf varieties of eggplant and tomato would work in this also. Remember that in this type of planter, you don't have to have the same soil depth as you would in a traditional container. You can get away with about 4 inches shallower. It's really a great value and I highly recommend.
This garden bed is small but mighty. The self watering feature is a great design- it keeps the soil moist and cool and my plants love it. The wheels are also great because it makes it easy to move the garden bed around the deck, and out to the front yard. I've been using it for about two months and has held up great, so looks like it will last me a good while. Overall a great garden bed especially for someone with limited space who wants to grow something small.
Love this planter! I love that it has wheels and can be moved into shade if needed. It's also the perfect size for a small herb garden, where each of the plants have lots of room without being overcrowded. There's also a built in watering system which is super convenient as well. It's also sturdy!
I have used the walmart and name brand version of these planters for about 5 years. I have had consistent success with them from flowers to veggies, they always work. I have used them to have consistently great lettuce harvests and put any water sensitive plants in these. The reservoir system has been perfect. I can go on a vacation for a few days and not worry about watering the plants. I just fill up the reservoir and its perfect. I am about to purchase my 7th and just gifted one to another family member. Just try one, you wont regret it!
This is such a nice addition to my balcony! I live in an apartment so I don't have room for a full garden, but this is just a perfect size to plant some herbs and small flowers. I've been growing lavender, sage, lemon verbena, and some small edible flowers in it over the summer and they're all thriving. This little garden bed is perfect for a balcony because the base is solid, so water doesn't leak out make a mess on my balcony (or leak onto my downstairs neighbors porch!) I also don't have to worry about proper drainage, because the inside of the planter has an interior reservoir for extra water. It's really well-designed to be both mess free and good for the plants. I also like that it's on wheels. It makes it easy to roll around if I need to move it due to a storm/weather. All in all, I'd absolutely recommend this! It's brought me so much joy seeing my little plants growing more every day. I'm so glad I have this to make the most of my small balcony! :)
I live in a town home so this garden bed is great if you don't have a yard to plant a garden in! They are durable with the Florida heat & rain storms, easy to use you won't even need instructions and you can move them whenever you want! I loved it so much I got a second one. Have peppers in one and plan on growing herbs in the other.
These are great little planter boxes because they make watering your plants incredibly easy. Just fill the bottom and let it go. The rain keeps mine filled. I have had a Jacob's Ladder plant in one that I've not had to water in over two years. Purchased more for some new plants I got this year.
This garden bed is very practical for indoor use, when your space is limited like mine. The thought of adding the casters to this is also great when you need to move this around in your outdoor space. This would comfortably fit 2 tomato plants. This had an easy assembly and only took a few minutes which was great
