It's a pretty good cd/dvd player
I personally liked how it really is plug and play, as well as really portable. I can simply plug it in, insert a cd or dvd, and it automatically reads it without having to download any drivers. However, I haven't burned anything with it yet, so I don't know if it does require drivers for that, but I would say that its pretty good quality. The only thing that might make some people not like would be how it can be a little noisy, but that goes for most optical disk drives.

External CD DVD Drive
I got some help with computer online help. They found a driver for this external disc drive. Installed easily and works just fine. Connects with USB.

As advertised
A simple player. Works when plugged into computer or laptop's USB port. I haven't used it for DVDs yet, but works perfectly for CDs. Just plug it in and open your media player. Put your disk in and hit play.

The Perfect Addition to Your Computer
This External CD DVD Drive in a very helpful addition to my computer. It definitely does all the extra jobs that I need it to do. I would recommend it to anyone who needs this for additional things that you cannot do through your computer that involve CD's and DVD's!

works better with DVDR- discs. not DVDR discs. learned the hard way. good unit but must be placed where you can open door ok. I. put mine on old dvd burner to elevate at least 2 inches or cannot open door properly

CORD IS WAY TOO SHORT !!!
Cord is way too short at 7 inches. Don't purchase unless you order an extension cord at the same time. Not sure why its designed this way. Functions fine but have only used for 2 days so far to watch movies. Wording on packaging is a terrible attempt at the English language but this item is from China. You would think they would run it through a grammar check before having this packaging made.

Buy a brand name with a warranty!
Did not work at all for me in brand new Dell desktop running Windows 11. Tried everything AI and I could think of. Buy a BRAND NAME.
