Spare tire holder worked great on my boat trailer, looks well made, hardware was of good quality, no problems.

Sturdy Bracket
The bracket is good and sturdy. Holds tire well. The finish appears to be just zinc coating. Which is OK, especially if you are a putting it on a farm trailer, a freshwater boat trailer or utility trailer. I will be using it around salt water, so I know after the first season, I will need to refinish the bracket with something more impervious to corrosion. Which is OK. The price was good and the construction is good.

Very well designed and easy to install. The 1/2-13 threaded carriage bolts for mounting of spare wheel woul\d be better if the thread was 1/2-20 so as to use an auto lug nut.

The carrier is well made and galvanized. Here is the negative: the hardware to actually mount the tire is garbage! Some silly retainers that cost a penny cheapens the entire product!

Contrary to the advertisement, this carrier DOES NOT work on a typical 5-hole rim where the holes are spaced 4.5 inches apart. The holes on the carrier are to close.
