I love this can opener. It's made in America and it doesn't hesitate to let you know on the packaging. My mom had an old Swingaway can opener when I was growing up, still has it too, from back when they were made in America. It's great, but Swingaway is no longer made in America and not nearly as good as it used to be. EzeDuzIt can openers are made in America in Swingaways old factory. They're just as good if not better. They're beefy and well made with a smooth turn and cut through cans like butter, unlike Kitchen Aid can openers which this one replaced in my kitchen.

It doesn't seem like a big deal to have a can opener that is easy to use and operates smoothly, but as the saying goes, “ they don't make things like they used to.” This can opener is great, and it makes a simple kitchen task easier by doing its job well.

This can opener is quite difficult to find among the general retail market and with the propensity of counterfiet products, I'm glad I can find it at Lehmans, my trusted source. I've used this particular brand and model of can opener for decades; my mom had the red one as our family can opener. It's one of my most used kitchen items. Using very little pressure, this American-made opener safely, smoothly and quickly opens cans of all sizes and weights. No burrs or missed areas. Stays sharp for years and years.

There are so many cheesy, poorly-made openers out there that just work for a short time. Or, you can pay an extortionist price for a fancy, overbuilt, electrified unit, if that is what you want. This is the opposite. Well built, works perfectly, simple, easy to handle -- and all at a very reasonable price. This is what our products all used to be like.

Solidly built, sturdy metal, comfortable grip, and easy to use. By far the BEST can opener I have purchased. In the past have paid the same amount for flimsy openers that failed far too soon. This one's a keeper!

I found this can opener by googling "best can opener". It definitely lives up to that - easiest time I've ever had opening a can. It's great. Highly recommend.

It's all in the sharpness of the blade. Cheaper can openers have blade that don't last very long. This model is good for a dozen years for a single user, 5 to 6 for a family.

This can opener cut through the can like it was butter. I love it! I've wasted too much money on junk openers that don't work well and don't last. It has more length to the handle which gives added leverage. I have arthritis in my hands and I needed this.

Finally a can opener that works like you expect. Why is it so hard to find a simple can opener that simply works?!? It's a tool that has been around for over a hundred years. We've gone through a few over the past few years. Many work for a while and a few don't work well at all. This one works well on all size cans we've tried it on from tiny tomato paste to 3 lb coffee cans. It's strong, well made and we like the big easy to turn handle. You can pay less but you can't buy better.
