These are the first dissolvable tablets I have taken and I only tried them based on the reviews. I have to say that I love them! They taste good, they don't leave a chalky residue behind at all. I can only hope the formula doesn't change. I'm on my 3rd bottle and signed up for auto ship refills. As far as preventing illness, I don't know, I've barely been out but I see these as another line of defense to staying healthy.
