Got a new pump and filter and tried using filter balls as cleaning medium. I ran the pump 8hrs a day for over a month and water never cleared up. Bought 200lbs of this pool filter sand and saw improvements in less than 3days! Good consistency and works good!

Ordered 350# (7 bags) of this silica sand for a new sand filter. Each bag arrived separately in a cardboard box, and on different days. Had to call in to track down the last one as it was "damaged in shipping". Not unreasonable for a 50# bag in a box. All bags were opened and leaked a little. This probably has more to do with the manufacturer's seal on the top of the bag. I collected the extra sand and saved it to add in at the top of the filter. Not a bad experience, but it would be much better to just receive a pallet of sandbags and it would safe the UPS driver's back.

The sand was exactly what I wanted and arrived quickly. I was missing one bag and had to contact the seller, and promptly received the missing bag. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was 2 of the bags had slight tears and were leaking sand everywhere. This could be due to the handling during shipment i guess. Great customer service.

Package was opened a sand was all in box.. For next time and other o orders please check for holes and openings in bag

Sand was great but only half of it made it thru shipping so got about 20lbs instead of 50😂

Pool store was 75 percent cheaper
