Famous Dave's Original Cornbread Muffin Mix, 15 oz Box

Love this corn bread mix. Sometimes I add 2 tablespoons of whole frozen or fresh corn... for looks and chew. LOVELY texture and flavor. Highly recommend.

Best corn muffins ever!!!! Use to go to a Famous Dave's restaurant in Tucson where these muffins were served with your meals. The restaurant has since closed. The only place in Connecticut where we could find these muffins was in a Wal Mart! Thank you!! We purchase them in quantity all the time!

I had seen this corn bread mix before but never heard of Famous Dave's so wasn't sure I wanted to try it. One day I was making chili & decided to buy a corn bread mix to serve with it & I finally picked this up to make it. OMGosh, it was fantastic! I first thought it wasn't going to come out well because it was pretty runny as I poured it in my 8 x 8 baking dish, but it baked up perfectly & it was moist, sweet & absolutely delicious! We will be buying this again for sure! It was very quick to mix together & it baked up absolutely perfectly!

Only box Cornbread I will feed my family. Am asked to bring to almost every family event. I follow the directions and it comes out wonderful. I do add my own little step by adding approx 2 tsp of sugar to the wet mix before baking and in the last 3-5 minutes I pull butter the top and sprinkle sugar on top and put back in to finish baking.

This is a delicious corn bread mix. I make it often as my family really enjoys it, its fast and simple to prepare. It's primarily made as a side to serve with chili in our home. It's great with some butter, or crumbled onto the chili.

Best cornbread ever!! Leave it about one to two minutes short of the recommended timing for moistness.

Wow, amazing corn bread! Keep on selling Famous Daves please! They closed the famous Daves restaurant near me but I have always loved their BBQ sauce, pickles, corn bread! This makes my meals!

My husband thought this was REALLY GOOD. I put just a tad of maple syrup in the batter. Perhaps that is why it didn't rise as high as thought it would.??? I like to play with recipes and shouldn't when not familiar with the brand. I usually make everything from scratch, but getting older and like a little "help" now and so is nice to have a mix on hand. My husband thought it was great and that is all that matters!!

The end result was VERY sweet cornbread. I looked at the ingredients list on the side of the box (as the list is supposed to start with the highest ingredient amount by volume and then work its way down). Sure enough.... first ingredient on the list was SUGAR. If you are into very sweet cornbread.... this is your guy. If not into very sweet cornbread then you might want to try something else.

I ordered mustard greens they gave me collard greens and 2 season greens. I'm about to call there now.
