Farberware 13.4 in Soft Grips Nylon Food Tongs

I've used these before and my last one lasted me about 5 years so here's to this new one may last at least 5 more years.

These are a hard p plastic. Not the soft silicone so the grip when turning food in the skillet is excellent. A must have for non-stick. A little more expensive than the cheap silicone ones but these outlasts them all so far.

tips aren't flexible or soft making handling very small items impossible. if you want to pick up toothpicks with tongs don't buy these. I bought them to cook hot dogs and other heavy, bulky items so the rigid grips are prefect. the built in rest ensures the tips don't drip onto your counter and make for quick, easy pickup even with bulky gloves on.

I ordered this one in particular because we just redid the kitchen. It's gray with red accents. I was a little concerned about quality, because the price seemed low. It's just as well designed and sturdy as any Farberware product.. I love that it locks closed so it doesn't take up so much drawer space.

I love the versatility of this baster and the fact it can stand on the bulb, but most especially the cleaning brush and how everything can be stored inside the tube while not in use.

I love the handles. their just the right length!

The grips add a nice touch so you don't finagle the tongs and drop them all over your feetsies with hot oil or grease, the stand makes it be able to prop up and stop them from getting dirty, dripping grease on the counter or even can use it to hang them up!

I have had this item before and had a problem with the injector so I purchased it again to see if it has the same problem
