Farberware Classic 4-piece Jumbo Dual Riveted Wood Inspired Steak Knife Set

I have been used to using cheaper, smaller steak knives so when I took them out of the packing the handles seemed large, but because I have arthritic hands they actually made it easier to hold . They are really sharp and slice through food with ease. When they say "steakhouse knives" that is the size they are (wider blade and larger handle). They can be put in the dishwasher but they suggest handwashing to extend the life so I have not tried putting them in the dishwasher yet. Would definitely consider buying them again

These Farberware knives are just beautiful. I was going to buy them a long time ago and budget said other things had to come first. Well, the shape of the handle is just plain sexy. :D I got a chance to see how sharp they were when my meat cleaver couldn't open the bag my whole chicken was in. These are sharper than my meat cleaver! I keep it sharp, too! I don't care for the big steak knives, but this set is the exception to that rule. I love the fake wood better than real wood, which grosses me out on the handles of utensils. So soft and smooth feeling. They grew on me despite being huge. Now I want to order the other set of Farberware steak knives I've had my eyes on for quite some time. They have stainless handles, They are even more beautiful. I just wanted to order the serrated blades, first because the stainless handled ones are not serrated, so I will have to sharpen them. Farberware has the prettiest steak knives I could find and I looked a lot.

The knives turned out better than I expected my husband loves it he tried the knives on steak and gave his approval! Definitely recommend these knives and will buy more ! I hand wash them wipe with towel and put away

I compared the prices to those of other stores, and I chose the right store (Walmart) to order from. The knoves are beautiful. Finding them on the App was easy, and ordering them was even easier.

I purchased 3 packs of 4 and every package came in excellent condition. Good solid comfortable handle and a very sharp blade makes this a good value purchase. Im very satisfied and Id recommned these to others.

I like the larger handles that provide a firm grip on the knife. Excellent blade sharpness, does not dull when knife is being used several times over.

Knife works well but the handle seems cheap, light weight, feels like its made of plastic which it might be, I thought it was going to be made of wood.

The blade is nice and sharp but boy howdy are the handles like an oversized kids kitchen play set. These are an upgrade from the cheap plastic handled ones I've had for more than a decade but not really by much. I was needing bigger steak knives without spending too much at that moment. And these were that. Cheap, bigger, get it within hours. They are decent, so if you need a quick fix until you can research to find ones that'll last, then yes, I would recommend them as they work well for me. If your hoping for long term then I would say the adage of buy nice or buy twice will definitely apply. Set expectations appropriately and you'll be fine.

Huge oversized handles and blades, to the point of being ridiculous; I cannot emphasize that point enough - I do not believe any normal sized person could use these without a struggle and completely unusable for anyone small like me as the handles are just too wide. Secondly, brown of handles is almost one solid shade, not at all like photos. Lastly, blades are not full tang. Very disappointed in Farberware; expected something at least useable from them. Planning to return.

The knives were much larger than expected. Too bulky for my hands. The finish was chipped in several places. I had opened the packaging before I realized the chips so couldn't return them.
