Farberware Luna Porcelain Enamel 2.5 Quart White Tea Kettle

This tea kettle is just lovely! I love the shape, the handle, and the beautiful aqua color. It works well and I love that there is NO SEAM on the inside bottom to catch any water! This is a fantastic feature. After each use, I empty out the remainder of water and then quickly wipe out the inside with my kitchen towel, which keeps the inside spotless and looking like new, then let it sit out with the lid removed and spout open to let it thoroughly air dry around the openings before closing it back up. This will give me the best longevity from the kettle.

Farberware has always been known for quality products, and that is what I based my final decision on. I just wish it came in a wider array of color choices besides just the teal and white, but I ended up choosing the white so it would be more compatible with my decor. Overall though, I'm very pleased with my purchase!

It's nice and I'm enjoying the quality. The whistle is quieter than expected. I even listen close in the same room. I can hear it well just not to be totally engaged in something. The lid from the steam gets hot it's coordinating the angle taking it off to dry right afterwards like all tea pots just learn. tIt arrived packed nicely in a box no outer box which I really don't like luckily it was fine.

So very cute! I love hearing the whistle go off when my water is heated. When I catch a glimpse of it I'm reminded to “put the kettle on” for my next cuppa.

The Teapot fulfilled all the requirement i was looking for after four hours going to various store such as Homegoods, Walmart instore self items, Target, TJ Max, Marshall's they didnt have what i wanted on their shelves. Came home then went online. Product came Fed X and after opening with no dents in it (as found items in stores) i was very happy.

This is a very cute teakettle.. I replaced an older one where the spout had rusted. the color is nice and goes with my Fiesta dishes and Pioneer woman red and aqua accent dishes and kitchen ware. Heats nicely and whistle is good and not super loud and annoying. One downside is the spout. It's a manual open to pour which is mildly inconvenient when your working with boiling water . there is a small lever to open the spout.

A very nice kettle for the price. The enamel finish is beautiful but tender. We've been careful with it but still got a chip on the bottom. However, the design is quite good, and I'd recommend it to anyone needing a new kettle.

the only thing we noticed was the handle gets in the way of filling the pot from our water cooler since we don't use tap water, but it's not a problem to fill a measuring cup to fill the kettle. it is a beautiful design and I was looking for something made outside China. this is made in Thailand.

This tea kettle looked nice and felt nice to hold. It always felt a little bit risky manually flipping up the lid on the spout with boiling water right there. The problem ultimately was the spring mechanism which returned the whistling lid to the water spout - it broke rather quickly. Once the spring broke, the lid would no longer return to a fixed and sealed position, and although the water would obviously still come to a boil, the lid wouldn't seal and the whistle no longer did anything and it was just a broken tea pot. Walmart was nice enough with a refund, but real shoddy work on the part of Farberware.

If you use it once a week, maybe fine. But if you use it once or twice a day it will rust within the first 90 days. The steel that the enamal is baked on to is of poor quality and not sealed at the edges, so water gets under the stainless fittings on the edge and rusts the body of the kettle. The weight of a full kettle deforms the metal where the handle is attached and cracks the enamel and rusts there too. The plastic handle on the top looks cute but is hard to grip. The whistle doesnt get very loud, but its enough if you are in the same room with the kettle when its boiling. Im very dissapointed, I liked all the other design elements of this and the price is great, you wont find annother inside and out enamled kettle for less than $100, its just too cheap on materials. I would pay 30% more for it if they would just make it out of better materials.
