Farberware Soft Grips Stainless Steel Kitchen and Herb Shears, Red and Black Handle

I purchased these scissors at a Walmart store six years ago and I have used them and love them. I just ordered two sets for my daughter and their family. That's true because I love them so much. When I went to the website to order these scissors, I was shocked that there were any negative reviews. After reading all the negative reviews, I realized how many mental midgets we have out there in the world. These scissors were designed for use with food food includes chicken meat and other things that are contaminated with bacteria. Therefore these scissors were designed to be able to be taken apart and reassembled quickly and simply. Every one of these negative reviews is about these scissors breaking on the third use or the first use or whatever. The reason they are designed like they are is so that you can separate them to wash them in the dishwasher or by hand so the bacteria does not stay in the hinge part of the scissors and they can be reused safe safely! I think it would be smart if Faberware explain this wonderful safety feature when they describe these scissors. With instructions of how to take them apart and put the back together, which is a one second task.

Awesome scissors. I bought this because my fingers were getting blisters from those cheap popular ones you see around everywhere. Doing a lot of cutting so this was necessary. Imagine my surprise when one day I was cleaning them, and found out that they are made so you can take them apart and seperate them, and use them each as a single serated blade! Cool.

I love this sweater. I've purchased 4 different colors. It is extremely comfortable, easy to wear with jeans. I live in this type of shirt on weekends away from work. You can't beat the price.

i purchased these shears to replace another pair of farberware shears that i had owned for several years. these seem to be even better than the ones i had before. they cut well and are comfortable to grip. i love that the blades come apart for cleaning.

These kitchen scissors are sharp and easy to use. But, the best part is they come completely apart for washing. I always give a pair in a gift.

warning these come apart for cleaning. i thought i broke them the first time they cane apart. they work great, just dont want people freaking out when they get them and they come apart

The shears have 3 features which are handy and the shears are sharp and easily cut through lobster shells. The shears are a bit flimsy as they are designed to come apart for easy cleaning, yet they function well.

These will do in a hurry but are not very good quality. They flex when trying to cut something and I have pinched my hand more times than I care to say between the handles. They do have a safety cover which is nice when storing them in a drawer. Otherwise, if you have a better choice, spend an extra dollar or two for them.
