The light is as advertised. Does exactly as described on the bulb packaging. However, the description on the Walmart description described it as "dimmable", it is NOT. I kept the light because I will use elsewhere. The control on the lamp switching is very good and the CRI index seems to be correct (warm to daylight). Walmart needs to change the description since overall it is an expensive choice.
Works great in the Projector I ordered at the same time
I really enjoy this light bulb and the light that it puts out. Especially when on the daylight setting. This light bulb installed directly into the light fixture as it is the very same size as one of the old incandescent types. This is an led light bulb and it is advertised to last 15,000 hours which is a very long time. And the savings continue because it is advertised to cost $3.01 per year to operate at 3 hours per day. And I will save money because on the daylight mode, I only need this light and the other 3 lights I can keep off. For me, the daylight mode is the way to go. Of course, the savings depend upon the rates in your area. There is a switch on the outside of the bulb and there are three options to choose from. Soft white would be the least bright mode. Cool white would be brighter than the Soft white mode. Daylight is the very brightest of the three modes and in my particular application, I enjoy the daylight mode. I sure do like how well the room is lit and I enjoy being able to see. Of course, it is probably best to check out the different modes and use what is best for your particular application. Just when I think that there is nothing more to improve and here we go!
Super bright! If you have a place where you need lots of light, this bulb is for you. It is adjustable (not dim-able) so it doesn't have to be as bright but I don't see the point of that. The base does get quite warm so I would be sure it has good air circulation.
I truly love this light bulb. It basically does the job of having 3 different bulbs. I personally prefer to have the 5000k daylight on all my rooms but cant go wrong with this bulb if i need a different light output. It comes with the options for 2700K soft white and 4000K cool white. It is a plus thatnit is LED which saves on my energy costs.
I loved the feature of being able to choose the level of brightness. I’d never seen anything like having a switch on the bulb. Be careful about which wattage you buy. I got the 25 watt, not realizing it was LED. It was very bright. It’s the equivalent of a 200 watt regular bulb. I would normally use a 69 watt in my living to. The bulb also faded to off when I turned the light off. It worried me at first but I found out it’s normal for LED.
When you have teenagers that complain alot about light and how bright or dim is it , and you are tired of buying different type of bulbs for each room, then you will definitely appreciate and love this light bulb. They have 3 different modes to pick from, and everyone is happy and satisfied.
I was honestly extremely surprised with the brightness of this light bulb. It has 3 color temperature settings with a slider on the bulb itself. I prefer the daylight color setting but I recommend setting each at least once. I'm currently using this in my lamp but plan to switch it to one of my rooms since it was much brighter than expected.
I have just tried this new light bulb – OM200/3CCT/LEDI which is the Feit Electric Intellibulb LED 25W (200W Equivalent) Color Selectable High Output Light Bulb, A21, Medium (E26) Base, Non-Dimmable. I wish that the bulb was dimmable but that is not a serious problem as I can use it in a lamp without dimming functionality. The bulb has a switch on the side to select one of three output lighting types. Those three lighting types are Soft White, Cool White, and Daylight. The bulb produces a very bright 3050 Lumens that is called Super Bright by the manufacturer. All of that brightness is produced while using only 25 Watts of energy. The projected life of the bulb is 15,000 hours which is nearly 14 years of use based on normal usage of 3 hours a day. The annual energy cost if estimated at $3.01 based on those hours. I probably burn my lamp more than 3 hours per day so the cost may be slightly higher. I may have to buy a new shade for one lamp to fully benefit from the brightness as most of my lamp shades chosen by a designer are darker and do not allow the full brightness to hit the room. Even though it has a normal base, the bulb is somewhat over sized. I haven’t used it enough to highly recommend it yet.
I purchased this light bulb in April 2022. It’s now October 2022 and it flickers when in use. Less than 6 months and I need a new one. Unlike all the reviews the companies paid for I used my own hard earned money to purchase. I’m not happy and would not recommend.
