Fellowes Saturn 95 Laminator with Pouch Starter Kit

This laminator is the perfect for my desk at work. It is small enough to be unobtrusive, and the perfect size for normal and smaller documents. It is easy to use, and the lamination quality is excellent. I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This was my first time using a laminator, but set up and use of the machine was very simple and easy! On the first test run, lamination came out flawless and was very fast! Would highly recommend this product!

The laminator is very easy to use and set up and each lamination took less than one minute. We loved the machine. Free pouches have logo of Fellowes on the back, so we are only able to use those for one sided documents.

Paired with fellowes brand laminate sheets, awesome combo! Better than the other name brand! Did not leave a large bubble gap between folded cardstock on 5mil. Highly recommend!

I do research before buying, but I always end up with a Fellowes. It is a high-quality product, known name brand, and reliable. It is easy to use, works as it should always. The price is great. I have been a customer for many years. No complaints and very happy with it at home and business.

It's footprint is a mere 15" x 13" with a sleek ergonomic design and a contemporary look that will complement any office environment. When using "hot" lamination, the device warms up and is ready to go in less than 60 seconds. Pouches do not require a sleeve and thus allow for quick insertion while allowing users to visualize the item being laminated. The entry slot has clear markings for photo and letter size pouches. Likewise, indicator lights/buttons are conveniently placed, well lit, and easy to depress when selecting pouch thickness and starting the laminator. I value the auto-shutoff as a safety measure to avoid inadvertent fire or damage to the laminator's heating element. My only nit is that I wish the exit tray either telescoped outward or there was a means to securely affix it to the laminator in a vertical position to further reduce the laminator's footprint when not in use . I have been using this model for little over a week now. It heats up pretty quickly and laminates 3mm pouches quite easily (I have yet to try thicker pouches). Construction seems pretty solid and the seal is good. Not many options or icons on the unit, but keep in mind it is a base model. Only con is that you need to manually add the paper tray bar each time you set it up for use (there is no where on the unit to store the bar, so don't lose it!). Definitely would recommend it for quick simple jobs.

Unit made loud erroneous grinding noises on initial startup. After attempting to use unit, the first two attempts jammed 20% of the way through. I will return it and try again with a replacement.

Loud and misfeed ruined the roller. Will have to be replaced after light use after only 8 months. No warranty, so will have to start from scratch. Probably go with the Amazon Basic.

Used first one 1 time and it wrapped a registration card around itself and destroyed it. I am on the replacement one of the same item and am hoping just a freak occurrence and will not destroy any more documents. I would highly suggest making color copies and practicing with those first....
