The Fellowes Laminating Pouches - Letter, Image Last, 3 mil, in a 100 pack are nice, high quality laminating films. They are pre trimmed for convenience and available in different sizes and thicknesses. I own a Fellowes Laminator M1-95 9.5" Laminating Machine and these work perfectly in it. I love to do laminating work! After the years seemed to be taking a toll on some of my children's beautiful works of art I decided it was time to find a way to try and preserve them. A friend recommend to me the Fellowes product line and I have to agree that I like the way these laminating pouches work. I use my laminator and laminating pouches for everything paper that I want to last for years. I laminate my children's awards, certificates, paintings, drawings, poetry, you name it. It is nice to know that I have a way to protect my children's work form damage from age, spills, dust, etc. Laminating sheets would also be great for work, school projects, scrapbooking and more. According to the manufacture you could also use these laminating pouches for laminating pictures. I have not yet tried to do so, but I intend to try it soon. I recommend these Fellowes Laminating Pouches for all your laminating needs.
This 100 pack will add to the initial starter set of sheets that came with my laminator machine. The 3 mil thickness is really good for anything you want to protect, but still want fairly flexible. My initial use was to protect a printed sheet of emergency phone numbers, radio stations, and shelters in my area. (We tend to get our fair share of hurricanes and such a list can be really handy.) The resulting laminated sheet is still flexible enough to be rolled up and stashed in a backpack or a car's glove compartment without causing any harm to the document. Now that I have additional sheets, I also intend to try multiple laminations (using a single sheet to laminate multiple items) - Social Security card, Voter Registration, or Gramma's apple pie recipe. Given enough space between documents, I should be able to cut out each one without messing up the lamination. It's also been suggested I could laminate old photos to preserve them. I have to admit, I'm not quite ready to try that, but I can certainly scan, print, and laminate the resulting images without causing harm to the originals. Another potential productive use would be to laminate a cover sheet for a document, essay, or research paper (depending on how picky the recipient is). I could also see laminating each page of an entire document that was to be used in less than ideal situations. All in all, the 3 mil sheets serve well when a lightweight, flexible result is desired and I'd definitely recommend them to others.
These Fellowes laminating pouches are of a very high quality. These are 3 mil and exactly what is recommended for my laminating machine. Be careful to check the mil because I previously selected 5mil and they will not work as well in my machine. Smaller 5mil pouches will, but not the large letter size. You will notice a watermark on the pouches, but it does not show after lamination. What is great about the letter size pouches is that you can laminate odd size items that will not otherwise fit in the smaller pouches. I have even cut them in half and used them and it works just fine. The clarity is excellent and they seal perfectly. They also have UV protection. I would highly recommend them.
I own a business and it is important to save various papers such as pictures, ads that have run over the past and templates for employee communication. I am able to accomplish this with preserving them with my Fellowes Laminating machine. The more I use this item, the more I like the results. Since I use it often, it is important to me to use the proper laminating pouches so the Fellowes brand of laminating pouches is the only ones to buy. It is amazing how great your documents look when you laminate them...you will not be disappointed with the results. One thing that is important and that is to make sure when you are putting your documents inside of the pouch you line it up evenly and make sure you feed the pouch into the machine with the CLOSED end first. I did not do this on my first attempt and ruined my document...luckily i was testing it out so it was not an important document! it actually makes things look clearer and much easier to store in your files. I highly recommend these laminating pouches by Fellowes...High Quality that is designed to do the job with beautiful results. You will not be disappointed.
These work fine for me. I had read some reviews stating they curl up on the end. A few at first did that but I quickly realized why. Whatever document you place in it, make sure it is very near the top inside. If you leave some space at the top, it is more likely to curl up. Just a tad pricey but you do get 100 pouches.
I am very pleased with the performance of these Fellowes Laminating Pouches - Letter, ImageLast, 3 mil in my laminator. I have tried many different brands of laminator pouches over the years. And some are good while others do not work well at all. If you are reading this review you have probably experienced some of the same problems that I have encountered with laminating pouches... some of them don't bond very well. They sometimes have loose edges and some even have bubbles throughout the page. These defects are unacceptable. Defects in lamination like that can ruin valuable documents or other works. And they look very unprofessional, when that is an important factor for you. So I was pleased to see how well these pouches worked for me. I also like to buy this large letter size, 9"x11.5", and cut them to fit smaller laminating jobs. This way I don't have to buy different sizes. And this 100 pouch size is a great value. One thing for you to understand if you are new to laminating, you should know that these laminating pouches are not the kind that have adhesive to bond them. These lamination pouches are the kind that can only work with a thermal (heated) laminator machine. If you don't have a laminator, you should look for cold laminating pouches. But I must admit that there is no comparison to thermal laminating for a lasting bond that is waterproof and durable.
I received the Fellowes Laminating Pouches - Letter, ImageLast, 3 mil, 100 pack free from the Walmart Spark Reviewer program. These laminating pouches have made it so simple for me to preserve and protect my letter-size documents. These are durable glossy pouches. I found that the materials ensure clear, durable results. The pouches are extremely easy to use. I simply centered my document or similar-size photos in the pouch and inserted into my laminator. The pouches are pre-trimmed and luckily were compatible with my laminator brand. I was able to save some of my special recipes, as well as "how-to" instructions that I wanted to keep for future use. The pouches have built-in UV protection which helps prevent fading and provides superior protection. The directional arrow ensures correct insertion into my laminator, which also makes it easier to use, preventing mistakes while laminating. I did find that one of my documents had bubbles when it was finished, but that may have been error on my part. I is possible I did not have the heat setting on my laminator high enough. Other than that it is my opinion that the premium materials ensure clarity and durability for the finished product.
These pouches are great for everyday use. I use them to laminate pretty much everything from photos, recipes and kids artwork. The film holds up well in my thermal machine. I've not had any bubbles, fogging or burning. These are firm enough to give the paper stability but not rigid. They remain pretty flexible while still providing sturdy protection from elements. These pouches are a great multi-purpose product and I recommend them for any everyday application.
I have the Fellows Lamination machine and really like all the laminating pouches that they offer. I have used a few different sizes and they are all great for the projects that I have been doing. This one is thicker and makes a great pouch for items that you need to protect the most. I use them for my child's artwork and projects. It does a great job of protecting the and I know I will have them for many years to come. Great product and I highly recommend!! Very easy to use.
I received these laminating pouches from walmart reviewer . I wish I had them earlier because I had a really old Bible of my mom which turned brown and crumble too pieces. It was one of those huge Bible that had dates of marriages and birth of people I did not know but wanted to research. I am a big photo album collector. Out of seven children, my second older sister and I are the only one left. These thermal laminate pouches help me retain the color and clarity of all those pictures I have taken throughout the years. I have 17 photo albums which I started long ago. The laminate is 9x11.5 which is perfect for a whole page. It has a front and back but are not enclosed completely so I have to tape each side. They are 3mil thickness which mean they will not tear or crumble easily. But even thought they are thick and durable it does not alter the clarity of the picture or document. They are UV protected so sun will not penetrate them. I also use them for legal document that I had for long period of time. My only complaint is that they are hard to open and not enclosed on each side. Also the back page has writing on it, so cannot put pictures on the back page. There are 100 of them in the box. Now I feel comfortable knowing that my family memory and history will always be there for those coming after me ,my sisters, brother, mother and father. They will not have to wonder about their family history because these picture will say it all thanks to Fellowes Laminate preserving them.
