Just what we wanted. Works great.
I just received my new laminator today. I don't use it all that often at work, but when I need it I need it right away. I opened the box, read the instruction's, plugged it in & turned it on. Extremely easy to use! and a quality production. I am very happy so far. I cannot speak to how long the product will last, but if it is like my last Fellowes laminator, I am sure it will be great!
This has got to be the easiest laminator I've used in many, many years. It's fantastic! You just turn it on, wait for the green light, feed the pouch into the front slot and voila... your done. Could not be easier. And, the laminated sheet does not bubble or wave. I leave it flat on a tabletop until its completely cooled (which doesn't take long at all). I would definitely recommend this laminator to anyone looking for a good product at a fair price. I'm extremely satisfied and glad I bought the Spectra 95 model. No need to buy an expensive one because this one is priced well and works GREAT.
This laminator doesn't jam. It very quiet and quick. Doesn't overheat. Heats up quickly for use. Small and compact to store away. Has the starter set so you get pouches with the laminator, ready to laminate! Instructions are pretty straight forward. Don't have any issues and I ran this laminator for 3 hours straight laminating 700 Cards Against Humanity cards consecutively.
In a couple of days I laminated over 50 letter-size pictures. The laminator worked perfectly. I was very careful to place the pouches in to go straight so haven't needed to use the lever for unjamming. I bought Fellows 5 mil sheets and used those. It came with ten 3 mil letter-size pouches which I haven't used yet. The instructions say to use cleaner sheets but not how often and it didn't come with any so if you buy this excellent laminator you might want to buy cleaner sheets at the same time to have them on hand. The cord is 5 feet long. Nowhere in the instructions does say whether or not you can use an extension cord. I didn't. I brought a sturdy table into the room so it could be close to the electrical outlet. If I knew if I could use an extension cord I wouldn't have had to bring another table up from the basement. I researched this laminator before buying it by reading reviews, the vast majority of which recommended it. Other laminators didn't have such good reviews so I feel this is your best bet both from that and my experience.
Needed a laminator to do odds and ends jobs in the office. It is literally plug and use. At first I thought the little green "READY" light wasn't working, but you have to look straight on it to see it properly. Otherwise no issues.
Very easy to use. Warms up quickly, (3-4 minutes) feeds slowly but does not take long. Have patience inserting, it does not seem to feed quickly. Seals perfectly
After dealing with a laminator that would put lines across my page as it went through or warped on the way out. This laminator is doing the job. It is still new so I will see how the test of time goes, but I think with proper maintenance and care it should last for some time. Happy to have a jam release, haven't used that function yet. I was worried that the opening wasn't wide enough but again no issues so far.
I have to switch it off after every sheet I pass into it and light it up again before passing another sheet. If I don't do this, the second sheet doesn't pass and it breaks.
Didnt even have this laminator for 2 months and it is struggling to laminate and it smells awful when I plug it in and try to use it. Ive already ordered a replacement.
