Instant relief from the itch. It does have a little bit of a burn if your BV symptoms are severe, but it works. I did have to use a second round of it to clear my symptoms completely. The smell of the product is different, but to me it was a soothing smell. The smell of relief. So thankful to not have to go to a DR and get testing just to treat BV.

This product is amazing in my opinion although a little pricey well worth it I e used it more than once now and it has corrected my problems every time . Applicator makes it easy to use and it’s very effective, atleast it was for me. Does not smell the greatest but hey if we’re needing this who’s gonna smell it anyway . Defiantly recommend giving it a try .

It all started for me when my period started... but the only symptom was the smell. It wasn't the period smell though. The only way I could describe it was that it smelled like I'd walked into a super strong poke bowl restaurant every time I went to the bathroom. I had to hold my breath to not throw up. I couldn't go to the doctor because I was taking care of my sick mom %26 soon, it was the weekend. Maybe one of my meds or my implanted medical device?) After reading a few reviews, I remembered using a boric acid suppository once before %26 immediately throwing up! Those are NOT for me! I remember fishing the rest of it out %26 still feeling ill all day! Ugh! Then I found this! I was scared about the burning, but guess what? It didn't burn at all! Maybe a slight tingle? Maybe it's because I'm used to pain? I don't know. I was curious about the smell, but I don't think the smell is that strong! Maybe because the smell I'm trying to combat is SO much stronger. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyway, I tried it last night %26 almost immediately felt it working! I woke up this morning feeling a 70-80% pain relief %26 that horrible, putrid smell is GONE! I was skeptical at first, especially after some reviewers experienced severe burning with this product but I did not. It is possibly due to how severe the bacterial infection is. My doctor determined by labs that I had BV 2 mos ago. I'm 47 and post menopausal and never had it before. I am allergic or intolerant of most antibiotics now and I found this product to take my chances on instead. It's the only thing OTC I could find that clears or promises to clear BV. I followed instructions and there was a small amount of heat for a few minutes but that was it. 2 months later my gyno did a second lab to confirm BV was gone and I am happy to say that it did work as promised! But to keep from coming back I highly suggest women use only cotton underwear, unscented pH-balanced vaginal wash if any, take vaginal probiotics and/or suppositories like from VagBiom, and use condoms during intimate times to prevent recurrence.

I’m currently pregnant and have had no smell but bad discharge and itching was very painful to have intercourse a swab test at my clinic test positive for bv but I have no insurance and this was the only safe to use while pregnant option. First night I was really scared because everyone was saying the burn was unbearable now to be honest it is but if you just lay there don’t move as much it goes away i tried doing it right when I knew I was going to sleep to avoid feeling my down there on 🔥 I also put the applicator filled with product in the freezer for 20 minutes before use it helps with the burning and it helps thickening the product since it is pretty runny. Helped me finally have normal discharge after struggling with a bv for months the smell is pretty strong so just make sure to shower as soon as you wake up and you’ll be fine. As well with washing ur hands before use after use and during filling the product up

Im not a reviewer at all! But this product deserves it. It does burn when you put it in and it lasts for about 5 min the smell it’s bad and strong but trust me when i say its worth it.. my vag is back to normal no more fishy pee smell down there Im super happy.

The smell of this product is strong. I can't describe it but it's bad. It doesn't work, but the worse part is the burn. IT BURNS! The burn lasted at least an hour. From unbearable to uncomfortablly tolerable. The smell lingers. I had to shower just to get some of the smell off me. The symptoms came back the next day. I suggest URO suppositories! no burn no smell and they work instantly for cheaper! But with both products wear a liner.

Please DO NOT get this. This sent me to the hospital from a severe allergic reaction down there and it spread through my body with intense itch, rashes, and even my throat got clogged and irritated to where I was having trouble swallowing and breathing. They had to inject me TWICE at the hospital from how severe the allergic reaction was. These types of “holistic remedies “ thrive on knowing the healthcare system in America is trash and feed on people who don’t have the time to wait a month for an appointment nor want to spend over $1000 going to the ER on the day you need healthcare. At this rate, contact Amazon medical care. They have BV options even for those that don’t have insurance. It’s about $70 but hey.. it’s better than this for sure and saves you a trip to the ER like me. Especially if you have sensitive skin, immunocompromised, or react strongly to strong smells (which this product also has). DO NOT BUY PLEASE. Save yourself

I would not buy this product to ease BV symptoms. It burned so bad right after it was inserted, I had to try scraping it out for it to feel better. Try boric acid suppositories instead, no discomfort!

I think this might be good for a mild case .. but mine was too far gone .. I had great results up until it wore off 2 days later and the same symptoms returned .. save your money and go get a prescription .. the smell of the product also made me sick
