I love how much room it has, it was a little hard to get to some of the screw holes for my husbands big hands, but he managed. The drawers were kinda off, it can be difficult to open drawers. It is very heavy empty.

We had to watch a video to figure out part of tab installation. Package diagram wasn't to clear.

I was surprised how easy and quick this file cabinet was to assemble. At first, looking at all the pieces, I thought it was going to be a nightmare. It took two people just over an hour to put together. The only tool needed was a screwdriver (unless mounting to the wall then you need a drill).

This cabinet hit all the marks for me! My current files fit and there's room for plenty more. Plus, I am able to use some space for storage. Great value!!!

The file cabinet only allows for 2 rows inside each drawer; it would help if you needed more space to have the cabinet be a little wider. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Comes in two boxes, boxes did not arrive same day. Looks nice. Must be secured to wall.

Have several Fesbos file cabinets already. First time for a lateral file. The assembly book is somewhat confusing on some parts of assembly. Could use more clarity. Went on YouTube, saw assembly was by 2-people. On YT, it also shows different bottom pads. On YT they're adjustable. It also shows bumper stops for drawers. These were not included with the one I bought. I later found bottom pads are pre-installed, but are not adjustable. Really doesn't matter, but would have been nice if I could adjust cabinet for level. I also used both the book and video for assembly and tips. I like laying everything out before assembly. I put them in the order of assembly along with any and all parts that go with each step. Makes it very easy and you're not hunting around for everything. As you assemble go SLOW...don't overtighten screws when putting them in or the parts will not fit together properly, and the screws can come loose later...this is important. In the YT video it shows them using an powered drill. Unless you're good at controlling the speed, then a hand screw driver is best (Phillips head screw's.) Leave them somewhat loose as you put them in. Fine adjustment is needed at some points and if they're tightened too much, then it's difficult adjusting the drawer(s) or cabinet body for squareness. Other than that...it did go together fairly easily. I did most of it by myself. Need 2nd person for back panel assembly to frame. Lastly, when putting the drawers in, make sure you use your fist, or a soft mallet to set them in place on the rails. It takes a pretty good whack in each corner on the inside of the drawer so it seats to the rails. This was a problem I had with the 1st drawer. It wouldn't close properly when I tried to close it. After checking it out I realized the drawer had not seated itself. Once I hit the corners on the inside of the drawer to the rail, it closed perfectly. Make sure you do this and you should have no problems. Hope this helps!?

Assembly takes some time, about 3 hours. Some screw locations makes the use of the screw driver difficult. I used an open end 17mm wrench, which fits on the screwdriver handle, and down pressure on screwdriver in order to keep screws straight. The drawers were a little difficult to press and lock into support rails. My wife could not have put this together. Probably would not have bought if I knew assembly was required. Looks great after assembly and will know quality when files go in.

The product is fairly good. Fairly easy to put together. Took about two hours to put it together. When taken from the box, the back panel was bent in two places.

This product is a nightmare. Arrived with scratches which I can live with because it's going in the garage. Assembly is a disaster. They give you a phillips which is not heat treated and therefore immediately distorts into an unusable nub. Which honestly doesn't even matter because 90% of the screw placements are where the handle of your screwdriver won't fit. (Use your own 90 degree phillips.) Which also doesn't matter because 50% of the holes don't even line up. (Now use hammer and nail instead.) Even if you do manage to get this together, well 3 people tried and no one could get the drawers to insert flush with the rest of the cabinet and they don't even stay on the rails. Keep your files in a box under your bed and don't even bother with this, turn it into scrap metal, make it an art project.
