This is my honest review of: the FIFINE AM8 XLR USB Dynamic Microphone My opening thoughts when receiving the item: It is hefty, in a surprisingly plain brown box with just the Fifine name. in nice foam that you would expect with high quality. It being soft and works great to keep it safe. The good parts are: It is as you would expect with a dynamic microphone. the microphone capsule is front facing so 6 to 8 inches is what you would need to be from it. The negatives are: Really no negatives for the price. The overall rating out of ten is: 10/10 Is it worth the money?: Yeah. Comes with a matching xlr cable which is a bonus. Overall thoughts: for starting out this is a good choice. with the provided cable i have had no issues with it. So go for it if you need something like this on the cheap.

Thank you so much!!! I was invited by Walmart to be a reviewer and im so thankful. This microphone was shipped and delivered fast. The box was heavy. The mic is strong anf durable. It feels very well made. It will be a birthday gift for son turning 12. He loves creating animations on art programs/systems and uploading on youtube or steam. This Mic will be a fun gift so he can more audio on his own, versus using his headset. Very useful. Im sure this eill work so smoothly with his PC. It has all the required equipment. It has a strong and sturdy stand that 🎤 screws into securely. The microphone cover is extremely soft, I've not seen a material like this before on a mic so that really makes me think this is legit and on a semi professional level. It comes with 2 cords. The microphone has different type of plug ins on it. The mic is heavy and its made with strong material. It is NOT plastic at all. Its stronger than that, im not sure if its metal but it feels like it could be. The instruction manual is vast. Has alot of helpful detailed information. Super happy I chose this. I know my son is gonna be stoked for this gift !!! I super recommend this microphone.

Excellent quality! I got this pair up with my system that includes the ampligame audio controller as well. They go together perfect and look lovely together. Everything about it feels high quality, even the base. It's easy to setup and use with instant detection from my Macbook Pro. The sound is great and it works perfectly. Looks so cool too!!! The colors are really easy to change with the touch of the button. The power button looks like where the usb-c cable plugs in to, lol, it goes in the bottom. :D

I got this microphone for work meetings because I don't always like wearing a headset. I'm extremely impressed with the sensitivity of the mic, as well as it's multiple options for connectivity. ****PLEASE READ******* This mic is amazing and easy to use. Has all the settings you need to play videos games or stream. I have this mic on my main set up and I bought this same mic for my kid. The USB is plug and play easy set up for anyone. Sound quality is great and clear!

The FIFINE AM8 Dynamic Microphone arrived in a plain brown box for me. It's plug-and-play once the cable is properly seated in the port. I like the connector that keeps the USB-A adapter attached to the USB-C tip so it doesn't get lost, but it's made from a rigid material that caused some connection issues, as shown in my photos. If that connector were made from soft silicone or another flexible material, it likely would have avoided this problem. I ended up swapping ports and rebooting before everything worked correctly. 🟣 The base is sturdy and has enough weight to keep the microphone stable on the desk. I also appreciate the included 6.5-foot cable, which provides plenty of reach without needing an extension. 🟣 The RGB control and mute “buttons” are touch activated. Because they're so sensitive, I accidentally changed the RGB pattern or muted myself while repositioning the mic. Even a slight touch can trigger those functions. The microphone displays a green light during normal use and switches to red when muted, which provides a clear and helpful visual indicator. 🟣 For the average user, this microphone might be a bit more than necessary since smaller and cheaper microphones can still provide decent audio. However, if you want to step up your audio quality and enjoy RGB lighting as a bonus, the FIFINE AM8 is a solid option. 🟣 WRAP-UP: Plug-and-play setup, colorful RGB lighting, a visible mute indicator, and a sturdy base make this microphone a strong contender for anyone upgrading their audio setup. 🟣 Thank you for reading my review! 😊

I tested this microphone with audacity. Just change the input decide to the fifine am8 and you're good to go. There are two knobs that control gain for input and monitoring. There's also a light on the back you can swipe to mute it. The audio quality is good, but it's not perfect, which is to be expected from a mic at this price point. I tried recording a piano keyboard with it and it picked up a lot of background noises and clicks.

Not as sturdy as some have claimed, sound isn't that great, and for whatever reason, I get alot of feedback using it through my ps5.. I purchased this because I needed a cheap mic to hook up to my Mpc, Google said it had some phantom power and would work fine.. It does not.. 😂
