we have a well and these help clear the silt out of the water so our clothes don't turn colors due to the well water. they work great.

They work great.
They are recommended for the Culligan whole house filter and they do the job but they are cheaper at Menards.

Does An Adequate Job
This filter was easy to install, and put into service, thanks to the red pressure relief valve on the top of the filter housing. Don't forget to use it, or you will twist as hard as you can forever. Filter is fairly "crude" but does catch large to mid-size particles on the incoming line. Certainly better than nothing.
