These Filtrite filters are excellent and fit my Culligan Whole house water filter perfectly. I use these pleated filters along with the charcoal filter for double filtration. I've used these same ones from Walmart for years now and never had a problem. They are very easy to switch out and do a great job cleaning my water.

we have a well and these help clear the silt out of the water so our clothes don't turn colors due to the well water. they work great.

They are recommended for the Culligan whole house filter and they do the job but they are cheaper at Menards.

Filtrete Standard Capacity Whole House String Wound water filter does a great job of filtering rust and sediments! There is a lot of rust and sediments in our city and it used to plug the nozzles on the water faucets and shower heads in the house! No problem now.

This filter was easy to install, and put into service, thanks to the red pressure relief valve on the top of the filter housing. Don't forget to use it, or you will twist as hard as you can forever. Filter is fairly "crude" but does catch large to mid-size particles on the incoming line. Certainly better than nothing.

This product makes it easy to replace the whole house filters and is our preferred filter.

Works well and will use it when the grooved filter ones aren't available. I have my own well and this filters a lot of sediment but grooved filter filters out even finer stuff and fits better.

made with string , suggest getting the one made of a solid white cotton, cost a bit more .
