These are water sediment filters for wells that just require fine particle removals (sand, etc.). I have used these "string type" filters for years and have not had any problems. They last quite awhile depending on the sediment content of the well. Lately I have been changing mine out every six months whether they need it or not (I have a 20" canister and stack two ten inch filters on top of each other).

I have been buying this product for a couple of years. I can't tell the difference between this filter and the name brand filters I was previously buying. Quality product at a much better price.

I use this in a 3 stage filter system. We use well water. It's lasts about 2-3 months with moderate to heavy usage. Well water is full of gunk and minerals so these fingers are under high stress. Will continue to purchase.

filters work great. use for my well water in my well house. took stars off because they left out a filter. had to request the missing piece. they did send the missing one. great value.

to pricey for what it is. use to be less than 8 dollars for two

I had ordered more at a better value and this company cancelled my order. This forced me to have to pay more for less. That's pretty lousy!
