Great product to pace yourself for different strokes to meet your goals

I had feedback of this product through acquaintances, so I knew I would be pleased with it. What I was pleasantly surprised with was Walmart carrying the product. This is not a widely distributed object, as I have found out. This is the second item I have ordered online with Walmart. Both items came in a timely manner and in good condition. Items are in a competitive price range, items received in a timely manner, that is a satisfied customer.

I was hesitant to buy due to the bad reviews. The only bad side is that it's a bit pricey.

My first 2 swims using this Tempo Trainer were my fastest ever. It motivated me to maintain a very consistent pace.

Very good to practice the pace, but it is quite difficult to attach it to the goggle band. I also tried to put it under a swim cap, but then it is difficult to put goggles on top.

This is an excellent training device. Unfortunately, there are no competing devices and the device doesn't last much longer than six months. The prior Tempo Trainer was sealed. When the battery died, that was it. With this newer model, you can change the battery when depleted, but the unit will be leaking water. The device appears overpriced, though WalMart has the lowest price and best delivery.

After researching this online, I saw the reviews were not good. People said the batteries did not last (or arrived not working), and that the product was not good. I ordered this through Walmart so it could easily be returned. Not surprisingly, the tempo trainer did not work. I returned it. Don't waste your money.
