Always works as it should in test mode
These alarms are wonderful. Small but powerful alarms. Small and fit anywhere.
because it deserved this rating, quality and durability satisfied my request.
We purchased these when we installed gas fireplace logs to replace old CO2 monitors that were in our house. They were easy to install and hang up. We love that they run off of batteries and can the batteries can be replaced unlike some others. The price is really good too. I would recommend.
These seem to be very good. I put them on the beside tables to protect us while we sleep. These are simple to operate
The CO detectors were an exact replacement for my old detectors. I just put in the battery and hung them on the wall screws that were already in place from the previous detectors.
Recommended brand by fire fighters.
This was just what we were looking for. Compact for use at home or travel, just add batteries.
The price was okay and it's a 2-pack, which was needed (both existing ones started beeping within a week or so of each other.) Shipping was quick as well. As for the product itself, it was a bit disappointing to see it has a 5 year warranty. Apparently this is the "standard" now (previously thought it was 10 years AND the ones being replaced were dated when they were installed before I bought this place - TEN years ago!) Batteries won't last that long, but this is the detector life-span. The other issues are 1) instructions say battery is easy access - I AND another person found these are hard to open and 2) the battery compartment is so small, it's just wide enough for the 9-volt battery and a SMALL finger to push it into place. Even with small fingers, it can be hard to seat the 9-volt battery. If you have large fingers, you may need to find someone with a small hand!
I stayed with the same brand and product that I had. I had to drill a new hole in the wall to hang it. Also, I checked with my fireman friend as to why the alarm went off to begin with. It didn't last as long as expected. They said living on a farm with more dust and windows open shortens the life, who knew?
