Fiskars 8 lbs. Steel Sledge Hammer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not too heavy to lift. The grip (the orange part) is nice and comfortable - a lot better on my hands than anything else! A couple other nice things about this sledgehammer - I love that you can set it down without it toppling over - I love that there is a not-so-sharp point on the other side to use for more destruction. I am impressed and I didn't think I would be - definitely two thumbs up in my book :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this is definitely the nicest sledge hammer iv ever owned. Not something I thought would ever exist, this is actually designed very nicely. This also works much better then the old school design. Breaks through concrete or bricks very easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Funny story. Our mailman dropped this off, and continued to deliver to the neighbors. My wife opened it and was bringing it to me in the yard, and he saw it. He told my wife that this thing is so cool that it's the dude version of a woman getting a fancy, name brand purse. He went by me and told me how cool it was, and how jealous he was of it. I asked him what he'd it use it for, because frankly, I have no idea what I'm going to use it for. He said, "I don't even care, I just want it!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very heavy duty sledgehammer, it has a long handle great for swinging.. comfortable soft grip handle..I compared it to my wooden handle sledgehammer I tried it out on some rocks there was no stinging in the handle and less shock.Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sledgehammer works great, it is heavy. it is made very well. Great for smashing things or construction work. We used it to smash some things up that were too big to toss out, and then I can bag it and throw it out for the trash. I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice Sledgehammer with a very grippy handle but not so much so that it causes blisters if you're using it a lot. It doesn't feel too heavy in the hands and is solidly built using high quality materials. Definitely gets the job done for my case of hammering in fence posts into the ground. Compared to wood handles, I feel this absorbed the vibrations well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars IsoCore Sledge Hammer is a great addition to my tools. This is comfortable to handle with a soft comfortable grip which feels good in my hand and does not slip. This sledge hammer absorbs shock and vibration very well--I felt very minimal impact where I held this even with very powerful swings. It is a nice weight, has a nice surface area where I felt I could have a precise impact. Very easy to use. Feels very well made and like this will last for a long time. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of the updates to this sledge hammer are excellent, the massively improved vibration dampening makes working with this sledge light years more enjoyable than my old sledge. the large striking surface makes even my swings more accurate. I do have some concerns though, the plastic handle is not replaceable, so when it breaks, it's no longer useful. Also, the striking surface seems to mar more easily than my old sledge from the 50's, not significantly so, but still noticable.
