Fiskars Extendable Cultivator for Garden and Lawn, 40"- 60"

I've always know Fiskars is a great brand. This cultivator/aerator is awesome! The handle and tines are very sturdy and the tines really break up the ground very easily. I'm using it to loosen the ground so I can plant grass seeds in a front yard. It's not going to be an "easy" job doing it manually but this tool is going to definitely make the job quicker and "easier". If you're going to plant seeds, i highly recommend this Friskars aerator.

Within the second use the thing that tightens the handle got stuck and doesn't work so it has been Jerry rigged to work. It does the job but not the best quality. Still use it though.

I used it to break up all the compacted mulch beds around my property. Works great.

I'll let you know in the spring how well it works. Only did a little in the flower bed getting ready for winter but I did like it

Came with no instructions. Believe center blades can be removed from other website looks. Extending Handle does not stay in position, as I had already known from other reviews I read before I purchased. If you grip and keep a force in the direction of locking as you use, only occasional collaspe of handle occurs. Intended use was to work up dead spots in the lawn; blades are not as sharp./cutting as I had believed, again, from other reviews I had seen......but it appears to roughen the spots sufficiently to seed grass......just a bit more labor intensive than I hoped.

I was excited to try this cultivator but I experienced major issues with the telescoping handle collapsing on me. No matter how much I tried to tighten the handle, it would not stay in position, which rendered it useless to me. I suppose if a person was really, really short and didn't need to extend this handle, it could be used in the all the way down position and would be useable but I am 5'6" and I needed to extend it a bit but it had the annoying characteristic of collapsing under pressure/weight.

The handle is awful! It doesn't lock very well. The handle keeps sliding down when I push on the cultivator. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! Very OVERRATED. Overpriced for what you are getting.

Handle collapse s when using. Does not “lock” with the collar as intended. Constantly fighting the handle. Sorry, would not recommend.

It works fine until handle collapses. Fiskars needs to fix this. No matter how much i tighten handle, it constantly collapses. Unacceptable. Fiskars usually has good quality product, disappointin

Will not lock into place. So mid use it will unlock and fall and put you in horrible DANGER as you using it and putting your weight on it.
