Fiskars Pointed-Tip Kids School Scissors (5 in.) with Sheath; Pink

My 6 year old daughter absolutely loves to cut things with scissors especially shapes out of paper. The last pair I got her became dull fairly quick and hard to cut and she would get aggravated and ask for help often. So far these scissors have been amazing and stayed sharp and very easy for her to cut and she has not asked for help at all. She's cutting with them daily cutting pictures out and shapes out of paper or her drawings. They cut very smooth and although pointed tip seem fairly safe for kids. The plus is the protective cover which I love to put on them when she's not using them and putting them away no accidental snips. I did not add the cover in the picture. These are great scissors for kids to use with ease. I definitely recommend them

Never have had a problem with Fiscars brand! This is the best price I found, and my daughter loves the pink color. These are much sturdier than the generic ones. So it's worth a tiny splurge to get namebrand as you can use these for many years. In fact, we still have a couple pairs from when my highschooler was in elementary school that are still going strong!

So these are designed as kids' scissors, they are 5 inches and compact and come with a guard which is an added bonus. They are Fiskars so they are quality and not the run-of-the-mill kid scissors. I quickly added these to my sewing kit along with the other pairs of Fiskars I own. They are actually perfect for quilting and not as bulky as my other pairs. These are not just for kids!

Being ambidextrous its difficult to find scissors to use for both hands. This pair of scissors is for right or left handed people. My grandson also used the scissors hes left handed he used them with ease. They fit either hand nicely and my fingers wasn't sore from using them. They can also cut hair not just paper or cardboard, material. I like the blade cap for the scissors. Helps from jabbing yourself in a drawer or walking with scissors. Kid could run with these scissors as long as the cap is on and you don't have to worry. Kids can be clumsy and trip all is good as long as the cap is on. The cap fits nice & snug on the blades.

I love these Scissors. Beautiful vibrant pink color. Durable and sharp. The Sheath, (safety cap) is a real plus when carrying in a bookbag for school projects. No worries a child might get poked or cut when reaching inside of the bookbag. My grandchild participates in doing a lot of arts and crafts. She could cut with ease. They fit her hand comfortably. No pinching of her hand when cutting and very easy to maneuver the scissors when cutting out the shapes in her coloring book along the dark outline of the shapes. The shorter blades gives better control when cutting along the lines. I highly recommend these scissors.

The scissors are made for kids but they can comfortably be used by adults as well. These do the trick when you really need a smaller blade length. The rubber sheath makes it safely possible to toss them in a drawer without worry of being poked when digging around. Blades are sharp and slice easily through everything I've thrown at it. Really nice scissors.

These are a good size for kids hands. And even approved for cutting by my older daughter who's 10, she says shes to big for kids scissors but these still do the job while minimizing the worries of her hurting herself. They easily cut thru about 8 sheets of paper , when making snow flakes of course. The sheath is nice addition but my daughter lost it int he first day.

I hadn't realized when I went to order the scissors, that it came with a cover for the blade part. That was both surprising and a useful aid to have. Can't complain aboit price. Its hard to believe you can get other scissors that are less adequate and much inferior brands and they cost more.

Another great pair of scissors from fiskars. Theses scissors have the padded handle and the safety cap that goes on the end to prevent cutting when not in use. I got the pink. Great fun color and comes as advertised . These scissors are sharp enough for everyday use .travel size about the palm of your hand so they fit in your purse, glove box, pencil box back pack.

I was a little let down by these Fiskars. Fiskars are usually very well made. These do cut fine but my issue is a safety one. The sheath does not go on w/o excessive pressure. My 6 year old could not put the cover on. As an adult I had difficulty with it. I think when it comes to little kid scissors, the sheath should definitely be usable.
