Fiskars Traditional Bypass Pruner with Non-Stick Steel Blades and Non-Slip Handle

Easy to open and close. Sharp blade, handle is comfortable I have used it on my "frost" damaged bushes and branches. I always find a use for these when I am out and bout in the garden.

Not too big, not too small. Great single hand clipper. Comfortable up to 1/2” branches and precise enough to snip the little stuff. Cheap for the quality you receive. A great item for Walmart to carry and for you to use all growing season long.

Finally invested in a pair of these. I got tired of just breaking off the dead stems. This does well. It’s sharp and has a open/close button for safety which I need because I’m goody;)

I’m an older lady an don’t have much of a grip when doing my yard work. I enjoy being outside taking care of my shrubs and plants. I live in FL so there’s year-round trimming and pruning work. I love my Fiskars Bypass Pruners because they remain sharp after years of yard maintenance. Their sharpness goes through stems quite easily, allowing me to keep my yard looking neat and cared-for without getting blisters or aching hands before the job is done. I appreciate how well these pruners are made and how long they continue to do the job for me.

Excellent design and manufacture, cuts easily, just wish the jaws would open a bit further to take thicker branches. Great for the basic trimming and I have heavier versions and saws for the thick stuff.

I have been using this type of clipper for many years. They are very reliable. The kind with the spring on them that you can see, eventually the spring pops out and you lose it and then they don’t work anymore. But this has some other mechanism and doesn’t depend on that spring to automatically open. The little slide lock doesn’t get jammed like some types do. Eventually, they get dull, or I lose them. And then I need to order another.. But they usually last three or four years before getting a little dull

Soft grip, sharp and cuts well. But the blade gets stuck after each cut, requiring me to manually open it up again which really slows down the pruning process. Wouldn't recommend.

It works, . . . Barely. This pruner was a replacement for an older one; same brand. In my opinion, the years older one is better quality. The locking/unlockinh mechanism on this pruner is easy to operate but the blades don’t always want to open. When cutting through a limb it sometimes doesn’t go all the way through and causes the limb to double over, stuck between the blades. I’m keeping it as a backup but I’m not really happy with it.

Always buy Fiskars as usially good quality. These cut veery well but do not reopen after you snip. Means you haver to manually reopen them everytime. Bad design

KEEPS LOCKING AFTER EACH CUT! EVERY TIME YOU CUT SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR OTHER HAND TO OPEN IT! IT TOOK ME AN HOUR TO REMOVE THE LOCKING MECHANISM! I DID NOT REALIZE TILL AFTER I REMOVED THE LOCKING MECHANISM THAT THEY WERE TOO LARGE FOR MY HANDS!!! IF YOU HAVE SMALL HANDS DON’T BUY THESE! THEY ONLY OPEN UP A HALF OF AN INCH! I SHOULD HAVE RETURNED THEM!!!!!!
