After purchasing this board and taking it out in the water twice I can say that I am thoroughly impressed with it. Not only does it come with everything needed to inflate the board and paddle , but also several d-hooks and elastic tie downs to add my own needs. I used this product on a river inlet as well as Lake Barkley, KY. It held up in calm water as well as a little choppy with boat waves going by. I would definitely recommend this product.
Never tried paddle boarding until I purchased this product. Setup took me some time. The hand pump works fine, though I'm not sure about the pressure gage. Went out to the lake and had a ball. It was more stable than expected and I was able to stand and paddle quickly.. It seems durable and I expect it to last.
inflatable option makes it easy to transport. This was a gift for my 9 year olds birthday. First time she was able to stand up and maneuver great with the paddle. As an adult i dont find this easy to stand on. I think anyone over 100 pounds may want a noninflatable
Fast delivery, we had an awesome time on this board he was all over the lake. We also have taken it out with friends but the oar sank. Luckily I found another one the same day.
There does appear to be either some weakness in the vinyl under the top pad or the pad is separating from the vinyl just a little. So far they are small and do not affect the function of the board. I am a little jealous of the boards that have bags with backpack type straps for carrying. This one is like a giant duffle bag. I did spring for an adapter that will adapt the inflator to a battery powered tire inflator that you can set the desired psi on.
The board is nice and seems to work well so far. It takes a while to get it pumped up but nice to have the gauge to know where you are at with the pressure. My daughter purchased one of these also and we were both surprised at how flimsy the storage bag is. I have only used the board twice and the seams are already coming apart. We could tell when we opened the packaging that it was not going to hold up. I was gentle with it but it is flimsy and came right apart.
The board is about 6" narrower than others I have used. The paddle adjuster won't stay tight and it won't stay adjusted to a longer length. It was easy to inflate. We did not try standing on it as it was so narrow. It was a decent value for the sale price ($89.99) but at full price ($299.99) it would NOT be worth it. Also, the carry case started ripping the first time we used it. Very lightweight for the amount of weight it has to carry. I will have to get something more sturdy to carry it in for future use.
I think the reviews of 4.9 stars are fake and if you look closely, apparently they're from seller or promotional sales. I bought this SUP because of its cheap price and of course you get what you pay for The measurement of this SUP in description is WRONG. It's very thin, less than 6 inches (description says 10”). I took this SUP to the river and it's barely afloat. I weigh 110 lbs and with my dog and all belongings are prob 150lbs max. This SUP claims to hold up to 200 lbs. My bottom are wet through my ride because the SUP is at the same level of the water at all time! ( At least it didn't sink. Thank god) I'm returning this SUP
First order arrived with a defective oar (couldn't piece it together due to defective parts), then returned and reordered (for $10 more!) and second order arrived with a pump that didnt' fit the the valve on the board! I've had 3 different people try it and it just doesn't attach! It's a shame, because the actual board is nice but I"m done trying. Good board, bad parts.
Reason it was on sale. I have 4 boards and this one was the hardest to inflate. Unable to attach without someone holding, not sure if pin malfunction, inflated but took 3 people, not something you can do fast on the beach.
