10/10. These are NOT the same as lifting straps. They are not as effective for the general lifting person as straps would be. These hooks are SPECIFICALLY for people who have forearm ajd bicep tendinitis or other issues with their grip and need to be able to isolate certain movements and get the forearms out of the lift. For example, I have brachioradialis tendinitis and struggle with pain when doing rows, pullups, and curls. For this reason, and this reason ALONE, these are a godsend and recommended. Otherwise, to compensate for a weak grip, straps are far superior - as the hooks are rather “robust” and do get in the way (especially for people with small hands).

I recently bought a rowing machine, and I have hand grip issues. Like my hands randomly drop things. I ordered these to help keep the rowing bar in my hands and not drop it and crack the screen on the machine. These work. They are a tight fit on the bar so if my hands give up I can still get a reasonable workout. It puts the weight to my wrist instead of pulling my fingers. The velcro is easy to use, the padding is thick, and nothing pinches. They fit just behind my thumb joint and the curve fits my fingers perfect. It is a set of 2. They arrived quickly, like 3 days.

Easy and very comfortable to use, I tried many gloves since I gave small hands. These grips are great and help me lift heavy. Anyone can use them, at the gym my teenager and husband also use them and we all like these hooks .

Loved them so much ,I used to use the straps and that will end up my hands with pain and bad circulation, this how ever have the best support and I am pain free after my work outs weightlifting has never been that easier!

These are exactly what I needed. When my grip strength gives out, I can keep working my back with these on.
