Wont Ever Go Back to Tampons!

Alice September 13, 2025

wont every use anything else again other than the Flex Disc and Flex Cup! Cramps lessend, over both make each cycle a little easier to get through. neither are for those who dont want to get their hands dirty during removal, BUT its way better than the negatives that come with the use of tampons!

It’s a crime that period discs are not the norm.

Nicole November 14, 2025

It is a crime that I have lived my whole life until recently without this product! I have spent thousands of dollars in my lifetime on tampons and pads, just for them to be uncomfortable, itchy and a pain in the rear (well a pain in the vagina lol.) We’re all ladies here so it may be gross going into detail but here are the hard facts! Pros: 1. When you pee or poo they self empty. 2. No more wiping gobs of blood especially when you poop. 3. You only have to remove it twice per day and rinse it off before putting it back in which is when you wake up and before you go to sleep. 4. No more awkwardly having to take your purse to the bathroom. 5. PERIOD FREE SEX (don’t even tell him you have it in the first time or he’d never know) 6. Let’s also not forget to mention that you don’t even feel the disc inside of you. 7: Just buy it. Not really Cons: 1. For some heavier flows, I would advise to put a panty liner on just in case. 2. You have to get your fingers dirty. (Only actual con, but everything has its downside) Pro advice: 1: For some of the younger ladies or virgins I should say. Relax your lower muscles and inserting it will be easy. 2: think it’s stuck? (I did too when I first used it) Just sit down on the toilet and you will be able to feel it and pull it out.

You can wear it for 12 hours, no mess, no pain

Allison August 18, 2025

You can wear it for 12 hours! 12 hours! You can purchase with FSA/HSA. Everyone’s flow is different but this holds up to 60 ml where the largest cup holds up to 30ml. And this can “self empty” if you bear down a little while urinating. I felt cups with this never feel it once it’s it and no painful suction! I could never use tampons always would get yeast infections and so uncomfortable. I also notice I cramp less with this. I got 2 so I can use one at night and one at work because you are supposed to remove by 12 hours. Wish I tried it years ago!

Convenient, Comfortable, good quality

Sparkygirl September 7, 2025

Any disc is way better than bulky pads or tampons. You don't have to change it every few hours, you don't have to carry anything with you, unless it's a super heavy day. (Even then a pantiliner will do for most people.) Insert it, and forget it for 12 hours which makes it convenient. Once inserted properly, you don't even know it's there, which is comfortable. I also think it's better than your typical cup. Cups you still have to remove it to remove the contents. With a disc you can just bear down and it will release it's contents. If you have never used a disc before it might be weird for the first couple periods, but it's amazing after you get used to it. Putting it in and taking it out can be a little messy, really the taking out is the messy part but if it's not heavy it isn't terrible, I would suggest having a sink close by. I work construction and have inserted my disc in a porta-potty (after washing my hands or having good sanitary wipes with me of course). As far as this disc is concerned, I can only compare it to Lumma, which I have used for many years. I like it better than Lumma, I wasn't sure I would at first, but the ring part is a little stiffer and thicker than Lumma, even compared to flex's disposable discs. This caused slightly more pressure than I was used to, but I quickly forgot about it. Flex's cup part of the disc is thinner than Lumma, but I do not know for sure if that is better or not. I would think so because it's less rigid in holding it's shape which would mean it would form to your body better, but maybe Lumma holding it's shape a little more allows for a lower likeliness of leakage. The thicker ring I think helps hold it in place better than Lumma, so maybe that mitigates leaks. Regardless, I would totally recommend this disc. If you have never used one before I would suggest starting with the disposable kind to get used to using them first.

I was recommended this product by a friend and I'm so glad I was! This disc is a game changer! I was scared to try a disc but I quickly realized how easy it is to use, I used to use the ring birth control and it goes in the same way. just a tip the instructions don't tell you (unless I missed it) when removing, bear down (push) as you go fishing for it. I have really heavy periods for the first day or 2 and havent tried it on day 1-2 yet ill update if I can when I get my period this month.

Reusable vs. Disposable

GENINE May 18, 2025

The reusable disc is great! It will keep you dry on your heaviest days. You can move freely without leaking for a full 12 hours, no worries. It's very comfortable, I don't even notice it's there, and it makes that time of the month better to deal with. I have used tampons for 25 years and finally decided to try something new. When comparing the two options equally, tampons can have a weird chemical smell to them, even the organic ones, and I feel like they leave me no good down there and sometimes a lasting odor during my period. The disc does not smell or leave an odor. It goes in smoothly and comes out just as smooth. The disc is a messy process to handle, so I highly suggest arranging your change time accordingly in the comfort of your own home to do so. Finally, they include two disposable discs as a gift. Do not make the same mistake I made assumming the disposable discs will be a secure as the reusable disc. They are different, I thought I could move just as freely with the disposable disc, but you can not. If you are in a sitting or crouching position, then the disposable disc thinks it should 'self-empty', and so it does exactly that. It can be very embarrassing. I do not recommend the disposable disc whatsoever for this brand but the reusable disc in this brand is perfect, in my opinion.

A Go-To!

KamerynB February 1, 2026

I have never used a disc before but was pleasantly surprised! The first thing you notice is the packaging, it's very appealing. I love that it's a female founded company. It does take a second to figure out how to use it but once in, it's easy to wear. I didn't expect the disc to be so easily folded, though it does have a thick band to sure it stays in place. The actual cup itself is very bendable. It holds quite a bit and there isn't any assembly required it just comes as is.

Love it

HeatherH February 11, 2026

I will forever be a fan of Flex. I have used various reusable flex products for over 5 years now and have extras stocked up for when my daughter gets her first period. The money you have saved me in period products is amazing, but most of all the ability to go about my day without worrying about leaks, shifting pads or tampons that don't accommodate varying flow is life changing. I recommend this product and company every time periods come up during girl talk.

Super soft you can’t even feel it

Eveee July 11, 2025

I really like it that it is soft. It won’t give me cramps while using it. Inserting it is easy. Taking it out however it is hard. It freaked me out one time I couldn’t fish it out. I have a high cervix so it was really up there. I like the fact that it is self emptying every time you use the toilet. I go to the shower to take it out and wash it in between. I can’t take it out over the toilet it is a mess.

Amazing! But removal can be a challenge.

LorrinM February 22, 2026

Gosh I have mixed views on this product! The good: I really like the texture of the disc it's soft and flexible and goes in easily. It's very comfortable to wear and really does hold you for hours! I like this one much better than the diva cup and it's easy to clean. The bad: omg this thing is hard to remove. Because it goes up behind your pubic bone it's hard to get a grip on to pull it out. It probably took me about 5-10 mins each time which as you can imagine isn't great because it's a messy ordeal. I gave it 4 stars despite this because I'm thinking this will require a learning curve and I really like the texture and feeling of the product.
