Picture shows everyday essentials with blue letters. What was received was signature fitness with white letters. Terrible rubber smell and very oily residue that I fully expected from the everyday essentials. They are entry level bumper plates. Normally wouldn't be a real big deal, but when trying to match other plates you expect to receive what was pictured. No I have to go out if my way to return then to the local Walmart.
I ordered the pair of 10lb plates. Overall, they're good. Very accurate weight, good barbell fit, plenty of exercise versatility, standard bumper plate size, and decent build quality. About everything you would expect from a bumper plate at a good price.
These Everyday Essentials 45 lb plates are exactly what I needed to upgrade my home gym. The quality is outstanding — the rubber coating feels durable, the edges are smooth, and the plates slide onto the barbell easily without wobbling. They have a solid, balanced feel during lifts. I also appreciate how well they hold up during workouts. No weird odors, no chipping, and they're quiet when loading or setting down compared to standard iron plates. The weight is accurate, and the finish still looks brand new after multiple sessions. For the price, these plates are a fantastic value. If you're building a home gym or adding heavier plates to your setup, this 45 lb pair is a reliable, high‑quality choice. Highly recommended!
They're ok. Came kind of dirty, has rubber odor, and a black film that should go away quickly. The chalky feel doesn't seem to go away tho. For the price, it's a good extra set of plates. I wouldn't make it your primary 45 lb. Plates.
fantastic! these are great and I'm going to get plenty of these out of them they really are shock absorbing and very easy to handle
The weights are fine, they don't feel like they were cheaply made, I work out every single day and so these things go through alot of use and they are definitely worth it
pretty good porduct. The only reason for the 3 stars is one of the plates has a split in it. but ill keep it because im not rough on my workout equipment.
Great weights. Durable for the price. 265 is the new 225 on bench baby
These are solid. They smell a little at first since they're wrapped in plastic and never aired out. A little oily but you can wipe them off.
does not fit on olympic style bar
