Floortex Cleartex Ultimat 35 x 47 Chair Mat for Low and Medium Pile Carpet, Rectangular

I've only had this floor mat for the past week but it looks like a great product that will stand up to constant use. I previously had one of those cheap plastic mats from Ikea and went through several of them. They always left white wheel marks on the mat and the last one cracked right in the middle making it useless. This new poly- carbonate mat looks great, has nice plastic cleats on the bottom which grip my carpet tightly and lays completely flat. So far I'm thrilled with this item and would highly recommend it despite being a bit costly.

This arrives in a very large, flat cardboard package. I didn't realize it would be too stiff to be packed as a roll. It took quite a bit of effort to force it into my small car; I advise planning ahead if you drive a small vehicle.

The chair matte was super durable and doesn't yellow. Great for my needs and at a great price.

After several days of research I determined that the Floortex Cleartex was the highest quality carpet protector chairmat. It is polycarbonate and that is the toughest of the materials they use in chairmats. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and am glad I took the time to research it.

It stays put on the carpet, is thick enough to support my chair and my weight. The cost was better than other sites.

This is an excellent product. The carpet shows through, the chair moves smoothly over the surface, and it shows that it will last for many years.

It is holding up very well. The pad slips out of place on my carpet. I probably should have purchased a different pad with a little larger grips. don't know til you try

That would be a qualified recommendation but it's not your fault. I just moved into this apartment and they have a ridiculously thick carpet so the spikes on this are going nowhere. I just have to keep moving it every day. But I had to get this type of product and not the glass that would have been too heavy for me to lift all the time. It is what it is. I knew I couldn't use vinyl, it would crack ... so there you have it
