Good design , avoid flash oil hot not like most other drain pans sold in store , oil filter draining stand good design , you can dump back used oil on gallon of new oil you just bought to change oil , I like the design
Not quite as large as I imagined. Should be fine for 5 quart oil change, not too sure about my F150 which holds 7.7 quarts. I'm afraid it would spill getting out from under the truck. Still a good value for the money spent.
Love it for what I needed it for. The car I am using it for is smaller and a little low so this is the perfect height for all cars and pretty wide.
Tray is easy to work with, very portable but not flimsy.
the product was as described and fast shipping
Good price! Good quality!
Pros: Made in USA, shape fits on shelf for storage easily, molded filter drain area (above oil). Cons: Cannot cleanly store due to open design (dust/dirt WILL get into oil residue that remains), cannot store tools in it afterwards due to oil film. Overall, this works well for space savings….. but you will smell oil in your garage 24/7 due to open design. If smells are a concern, get an enclosed round version with plug.
I like the filter drain stand. I wish it was a little deeper since the oil splattered out some. I like that it holds 10 quarts.
I have yet to use the pan but it appears large and sturdy.
Having owned and used this pan for several years I think it's about time for an honest review. I have no complaints about the pan's durability, I love the filter drain pedestal, and I really like the ergonomic rectangular shape because it fits well under all my vehicles. But it's biggest fault is that it isn't rigid enough to work well. When lifting a full pan of oil, the pan warps and wiggles to the point where it's almost impossible to avoid spills. The fun really begins when you pour out the captured oil. The pour spout is so narrow and shallow that unless the pan is held dead steady and you carefully work to manage the flow, which is not easy with a pan that wiggles, the oil overwhelms the spout and pours out around it. I keep a bucket of cat litter handy because there is always a spill to clean up afterwards. Don't know why I put up with this pan for so long but today it goes in the trash bin.
