Mobil 1 Extended Performance Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-30, 5 Quart

My cars all have used this as I travel many miles. This Cadillac has over 191,000 miles already and I expect many more. I use the matching filter and don't think twice.

I have been running Mobil 1 products in my automobiles for years and have had excellent results. I am now using Mobil 1 Extended Performance in both my 2005 Toyota 4runner with 4.0 liter V6 and my 2004 Volvo S60 T5 with a high-compression 2.3 liter turbo inline 5 cylinder and they are running very smooth and with excellent fuel efficiency. Walmart seems to have the best price on this oil that I could find. Match this with a good quality oil filter and your engine should last for an eternity!

I have been using Mobil 1 Extended Performance Full Synthetic Motor Oil for more than 10 years in various autos that I have had. I have never had an engine/oil problem with any of my vehicles. My Astrovan had 250,000 miles on it when it finally disintegrated (body/frame). One of my current rides, a Subaru Forester 2.5L Turbo has 170,000 miles on it and is still going strong. When I change my oil I also change the oil filter, cabin filter, and air filter. Maintenance is the key to longevity with your vehicle and a really good oil is the key to reduced engine problems. I highly recommend this product.

I've been using Mobil 1 synthetic oil in my gasoline vehicles since before they made an extended version. Though it is an extended drain interval oil, I only went 6000 miles. I usually trade vehicles before 100,000 miles so I can't really tell if the oil made a difference. But, I've known several people who purchased my used vehicles and commented on the longevity achieved. Not all continued my brand of oil but, it must have played a part in the long lasting engines.

Of course I cannot say it is doing a better job protecting, since I am not testing in a lab. I can however tell you, you can get better mileage using any synthetic over conventional oil. I my 8.1L gas truck, it made a 1mpg difference. (that is pretty big, since it only gets 13mpg) Make sure you have an extended life filter, if you plan on extending your oil changes. This is the most important piece. Most oil will last longer than the recommended change interval, but the filter is the part that fills up and can cause trouble. I hope this helps

I have been using Mobil 1 oil in all my cars which I buy new and keep indefinitely (currently I own three - each with a different weight oil requirement). None of these vehicles has ever had an oil consumption problem and all are or have been over 100k miles with one over 200k. Furthermore, the engines have never needed major repair - just routine maintenance. So, besides personally confirming that Mobil 1 oil's reputation for quality is well-earned, I can comment on Walmart's contribution. I change my own oil and almost always go to Walmart to get it as it is regularly stocked and the price is usually the best I can find. I always adhere to the manufacturer's suggested oil change intervals, but do not change oil more frequently than that. I also use high quality filters - frequently the manufacturer's brand which are not generally available at Walmart. So, in general I recommend both the oil and getting it at Walmart.

Consistent quality synthetic motor oil cannot go wrong with Mobile 1. Cannot speak on drain interval life, I change at 4000-5000 miles.

I like the oil. When I make the order early in the morning and it says delivery time will be in 3 hours and it doesn't show up until after 5 pm. Not sure what needs to be addressed to rectify this issue. Thank you, John

The item wasn't ready when I arrived even though got emails from them was ready had to go into store go to pickup and took over 20 minutes until they brough me the irems and then on top of that gave me a oil filter not for my car and said they sub it. want to where the oil filters were and theyv h ad it had to go to customer service return the wrong filter ande even though the correct filter was the same price.So I canceled the order for the filter got refund will never use this service again and highly recommend nobody use this drive up delivery
