Mobil 1 Extended Performance M1-206A Oil Filter

Being a part of the State of Nevada, Dept of Business %26 Industry my job was to oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Taxicab Industry. I was privy to an ongoing test in Las Vegas Nevada when a local cab company, Lucky cab, started using Mobil One Pure synthetic oil in a group 10-15 new cabs put into service. Now cabs in Las Vegs are put through some of the hardest day to day traffic. Some winters it snows yes even here, with lows in the 37-42's, and at night below freezing. The summer heat which averages to 105-1110 degrees, cooling off at night to the 90's. After 100,000 miles of city driving was put on these vehicles. They each were pulled off the road and engines were taken apart I watched as the company's mechanics overseen by the state's inspectors pulled the engines apart. The cylinder heads were absence of wear, factory-orginal "pristine". The block was perfectly clean, smooth free of scratches, no warpage. The engine was in excellent shape. It was also noted that each of these new cabs, compared to the other 100 plus cabs in the company were getting 3-5 mph better gas mileage. They were also another group of new cabs put into service at the same time, under the company's previous guidelines. They did not perform as well as the cabs using Mobil One That is why I oil use Mobil One Pure Synthetic motor oil in my Tahoe and my 37ft motorhome. One a Chevy 5.3L V8 engine the other a Ford 7.3L V8 (Godzilla). I put 600 miles on my motorhome before its first oil change. Introducing Mobil One Pure Synthetic oil into the engine, I began noticing an increase in MPG 1-3 at first, now 3 years later I can get as much as 9-11 mpg even towing my Tahoe. I HIGHLY recommend MOBIL ONE OIL.

Whit I will use until I find something better but that hasn't happened yet. I enjoy my toy!!! I have used a lot of different types of oil filters over the past decades. Worked with thousands of cars.

Mobile zone Oil products are top tier in the auto industry!

The Walmart app says this filter fits my 2002 Chevy Suburban 1500 4wd 5.3 liter V8 but it doesn't fit my truck. I will have to return and order the correct fitting filter. Not very happy with these results 😕

I cannnot review because I got a Fram FE10060 instead of the Mobil1 filter I ordered online. Hard to trust an online purchase again.

the filter was old and dirty, and shouldn't have been sold.
