Quality product! It works great and I love the size for the coverage it produced. 5 stars in my opinion and experience. Can't say enough about how much difference it had on controlling insects around my home. Definitely a great purchase for myself and anyone that needs 1. Can't go wrong purchasing this 1. Be doing yourself a favor indeed.

Zappity zap zap, these are the absolute best i have ever used and last for a very long time, i purchased this one to replace one that is over 25 years old and it still works just needs some glue and tlc after it fell from years of blowing in the wind and rubbing through its hanger loop. Excellent product.

I tried all the natural ways to keep skeeters at bay but when that didn't work I gave in and got this. It does the job and I can now enjoy being outdoors on my patio. Only thing I don't like and its not the fault of the product, other bugs, good bugs are drawn to the light which I have to try and save.

Bought this from HD for decades. Replacement lights and smell packets were readily available and our back yard was insect free (half acre lot). They last for years but eventually the transformer (i think) goes out. Went back to HD recently and they no longer carried this brand so I bought the one they had. It quit working within a few months and didn't remove the bugs as well so I went online and returned home, to Flowtron.

After the first 15 minutes I thought it had stopped working. Then I realized the it was so caked with bugs that the zapping field didn't exist. I cleaned it off and it went back to zapping. I have noticed a big difference in the number of bugs at night while working outside. Excellent for the price. the only issue inhave is not enough mosquito attractant!

Great ridding mosquitoes and other bugs!!! I originally thought I needed 2 , but 1 covers the area I need to be BUG FREE!! The electric cord is about 6-8 in long. You are going to need a 3 prong electrical extension. I bought a 10 Ft and it's perfect!! This lamp really does the trick!!

flowtron bug zappers are great for killing flying bugs on my property. I've used them in the past, last one i used for about 5 years before a greedy person took it. tried another popular brand and it did not work well, zapper quit. flowtron will last.

In the description, it says that it will manage mosquitoes for a half acre. I was skeptical whether it would cover that much. I have an acre and the bugs especially mosquitoes are way down. When I cleaned the bug cage, it was clear why I was not being bothered by bugs.

Have purchased several of these outdoor bug zappers. They are advertised as providing coverage for up to 1/2 acre but I doubt they provide this much coverage with a 15w bulb. I have five units clustered in a shaded back corner of my yard that seems to have the most flying insects. These zappers work quite well. The dead insects need to be blown out every couple of weeks. I leave them on 24 hours a day as I think the bulbs last longer when remaining on continuously instead of turning on/off daily, and 15w bulbs don't use that much electricity anyway. The instructions on how to insert the mosquito bait need to be clearer. I did purchase one that did not work straight out of the box (bad bulb). Returned to store for refund.

This particular unit came well packaged; however, it was missing the octenol cartridge that was advertised coming with the unit. The Flowtron unit would not light upon turning it on for the first time. I traced all connections to be certain power was going to the unit. All OK. Plugged in a different Flowtron to the same power source and it powered up normally. In short, I had to purchase a new light bulb AND the starter bulb for this new Flowtron unit. I had to purchase octenol cartridges as well, because it did not have one included as it was advertised it did. Very dissatisfied with my experience with Flowtron and this product, I have since tried other units from different brands. I could tell no appreciable difference in any of them, and the lower cost units seemed to do as well as this higher priced Flowtron unit. Based on my experience with this product, I don't recommend this Flowtron product as there are many other more affordable options that perform just as well.
