Gets basking spot up to correct temp. Been trying different kinds and this is the best out there so far for price!!

Great for a 40 gallon tank
I have a leopard gecko in a 40-gallon tank. I was having issues getting the basking area to properly heat up using a 75-watt or 100-watt bulb. I bought this hoping it would help, but it did. The basking temperature is now around 90° to 95°. Definitely recommend it for a 40-gallon tank. it creates adequate heat and light.

Reptile 150 watt
These lights are great for the price. They last over 6 months. 150 watt is just right for dragons.

Good brand bulbs/horrible shipping method
Flukers bulbs are great and last longer than most heat bulbs we have used them for 2 years on multiple bearded dragon tanks. On the downside, the last time I ordered they sent them in a plastic mailer bag not a box, so of course they arrived shattered. Hopefully, someone realizes this was a bad idea and starts putting them in boxes again or they are gona be losing alot of money/product! Fortunately, they refunded me right away, but it doesn't help that I still need new bulbs.

Faulty Bulb
usually am happy with Flukers products which is why I'm surprised that the heating light i just got in the mail doesn't work after attempting to use it on 3 separate heat lamps with no success.
