Larger size then I realized but high quality product. If looking for media check the size of the ceramic rings -wasn't clear to me this was as large of a ring as I was ordering.

Cheaper than local pet stores and available. Pet smart stock hit and miss.

I don't have a normal store bought filter but I do have a custom 5 gallon igloo sports canister that I DIY'd into a canister and the Fluval Biomax 500 gram Filter Media works like a champ inside it I put two boxes of it into a nylon mesh bag along with carbon filter pads and other filtration media and my filter goes strong for multiple months until it needs cleaning so I couldn't be more happy with this product and when I ordered all my filter supplies they replied the next day said it was on back order so I figured oh great I'll have to wait a couple months and I decided to reply back to support they said it would be a couple days and said I would get a email stating my order was shipped when order was back in stock they had my order shipped and was at my door within three days very pleased this company also has a great support team Thanks !

I've been using fluval 104 on a 26 gallon aquarium for 7 years - very reliable and never had a leak. Just upgraded to larger fluval 206 - really looking forward to additional filtering and new features. Valuepetsupplies had excellent price and quick delivery.

They were a little larger than I had anticipated. I believe they would suit a fish pond very nicely. I'm still using them in my 55 gallon aquarium, but I'm considering adding in some smaller ones as well.

I received my order in a timely manner. The order was complete, and in perfect shape. The only negative I have to report was locating the supplies on your web page. I have a Fluval 306. Every item I searched for was for the xx4 and xx5 series according to the text with the item. By accident I discovered a spreadsheet at the bottom of the page, which outlined which component I needed for my filter. You need to update your webpage so that everything is in one spot. That will make you "5 star".

Almost enough media to fill my Fluval 305. Had to order a second one to fill it - but with a lot left over. It would be nice if Fluval showed on the box how much each of it filters require.
