Almost all salsa's have onions which my husband is allergic to. However, this one does not and the whole family LOVE's it. It still has a great flavor and is thick and chunky. Best salsa for anyone who cannot eat onions or even those that do not like the flavor.
As someone who struggles a severe intolerance to garlic and onions due to IBS, I needed to find a salsa without those ingredients. All of Fody's products are onion and garlic free and low FODMAP, meaning that they can be safely eaten by anyone managing IBS. This product lets me enjoy salsa again without the unpleasant GI side effects (frankly, I don't even miss the garlic and onion taste in other salsas!). The mild Fody salsa is in fact mild, but still flavorful. I use it for a variety of dishes from tacos to burritos to nachos to plain "chips and dip" and it tastes great in everything! I highly recommend this salsa for anyone looking for a garlic and onion free alternative to traditional salsa brands.
I am using the Fodmap Diet and Gluten Free foods for health issues, and Fody Foods Mild Salsa for sensitive systems more than lives up to my expectations. I would eat it even if I didn't have health issues. I don't like spicy anyway, but this is very flavorful and a great snack with gluten-free tortilla chips. Thank you for thinking about those of us that can't eat regular food!
I love this salsa. I don't know how or why, but I find it very addicting! It's pretty mild actually. I usually can't handle medium rated salsas, but their mild had no kick so I prefer this one. I like that it has small chunks too. Being FODMAP friendly is a bonus, but I'd eat it regardless.
I love fody food brand. I wish you guys carried more of their products like the taco sauce and ketchup in stores.
CHIPS HAVE GREAT SEASONING! SEAL WAS GREAT! TASTED A LITTLE FIRE THAT WAS SO GOOD BECAUSE IT AGREES WITH MY IBS!
An absolutely incredible salsa option! Having allergens, you sometimes compromise flavor for comfort. That is not the case with this salsa! It is delicious and will be a staple in my fridge for Taco Tuesday.
This salsa is WONDERFUL!!! Especially for people that can't eat onions and garlic, like everyone with gut issues. I just don't know why I have to order it instead of being on the shelf at Walmart. Same for the additional items that Fody sells for IBS %26 IBD/Crohn's and Celiac disease. We have a hard enough time finding food we can enjoy.
It's a cool idea to make a FODMAP salsa! This salsa follows general nutritional advice for people with IBS and other stomach issues. I think the salsa itself tastes okay--not too memorable, but it's not bland, either. Oddly enough, my IBS has never followed FODMAP. Many of the things that are supposed to be so good to eat are just disastrous for me, and some of the things that are supposed to cause a lot of problems don't bother me at all. I actually don't have a problem with onions and garlic in general, unless they're raw or especially potent. I don't know if I bought this product intentionally or if I was just looking for a healthy salsa, but it works for what it is. The level of spice is mild, but it's not obsolete. There's a smidge of kick to it which is nice.
way too spicy and The Taste is just not there for me. I would not recommend it and also it's a little pricey
