FolkArt Glass Etching Cream, 5.96 fl oz

I love this product and it's been so hard to find! Second time ordering it in a week and I'll be ordering it again soon!

First time using this brand for etching and it worked the best for my project in comparison to another brand I had run out of. It was easy to work with and a little went a long way for a crisp result that I was looking for. Would continue to use for other projects.

I'll used some other etching cream before, but this really is the best for me anyway. The other etching creams I've used don't come out quite as nicely and evenly. and I've been etching on and off for 30 years

I started etching glass and wanted to try this...it does work but I strongly recommend that you do wear gloves because depending on your sensitivity it will burn. before using this cream I'd also suggest that you get a piece of glass to practice on because I learned the hard way that even just a tiny bit that I apparently had on my thumb left an etched thumb print on the glass lol... now I will say that this product is extremely thick and I had to put a little bit of white vinegar to slightly thin it out so I could apply it to the vase more evenly

We got this to make some etched glasses for our friends for their bar. One two of the glasses it worked with no issues. The other two took multiple applications. I'm not sure why it worked once time but not the other. Maybe it just got cold. For the price, it was a good deal. And our friends love their glasses.

I followed the directions. And it ended up splotchy, patchy, and uneven. Even applied a second coat, and not much better. There are definitely better options.

I don't know why, but I had to wait about 45 min for this cream to etch into the second glass mug I tried. I left it on for 15 minutes like it said for the first mug, but it didn't work at all. Leave it at least 45 min.

I was looking forward to receiving it, and when I did, Walmart sent out this bottle of old dried up cream. Then, to top it off, Walmart customer service argued with me when I wanted to return it. Shame on you, Walmart

Walmart has old dried up product on their shelves. purchased 1 and it was bad, purchased a second one, and it too was dried out.

Product was too thick to apply with paintbrush, and did not etch glass despite following directions. The date on the bottle says April 2024 so I believe the product may have been expired or defective.
