Kids Loved Them
The Starburst Candy is different than your use to. They taste fine. Kids loved them. I just was not crazy about them. They did disappear within minutes, so that says a lot.

Not the Sweet Little Treat I Expected
Now I just knew these Starburst Conversation Hearts were going to be a darling little Valentine treat. I was expecting something along the lines of a chewy Sweet Tart or Spree. Bright, fruity, and a little tangy. Well… that is not what showed up to the party. Instead of juicy and chewy, they were chalky and dry. The flavor was strange and honestly reminded me more of antacids than candy. It completely caught us off guard. We each tried a piece, and I am not exaggerating when I say we almost immediately spit them out. That pretty much wrapped up the taste test right there. They may look cute with their little sayings, but the flavor just did not deliver. If you are looking for a chewy, fruity Valentine candy, this is not the one. Now if you are feeling just a touch playful and need a Valentine for someone who maybe did not quite earn chocolate this year… these might do the trick.
