Frigidaire 8,000 BTU 115-Volt Window Air Conditioner, White, FFRE083WAE

The only thing I can say that so don't like about it is that its noisy. But we have it in our bedroom and doesn't stop us from falling asleep. But if you want quiet its not for you. Love that the remote tells the temp of the room so the unit adjusts to what I put it on!

I LOVE this air conditioner!!! I replaced my old Frigidaire with this one because it was such a good little unit and lasted a long time. This one is even better and has the same BTU rating. I am very happy with this purchase -- Walmart shipped very quickly and it arrived exactly on time! Thank you, Walmart!!

Man this a.c. Is so cold I love it!Louisiana heat can kill you even with central air.I need a backup for at night when I sleep now I sleep all night!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit was very easy to install and it has operated flawlessly since I plugged it in. One suggestion would be to make the control panel more visible the gray color font on the white background makes it very hard to see. It wouldn't hurt to make that remote a little bigger as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This small unit packs a great cooling punch. My windows are small and this unit fit perfectly into the small opening. The 8,000 BTU in a small package does a great job. You set the digital temperature and the unit will shut off when the temperature is reached. Not like my old unit that ran constantly. This is a very efficient unit. Best purchase I could have made for my shop.

It came damaged by shipping. It still works however. Youre taking a risk . Noisy . Didnt like the idea that its open vented on all sides including the top. No protection for the rear fins and coils its exposed

I only used it once so far and I'm not sure if I received a dud. The fan is quite loud, as in it would be hard to take a phone call while it's running. The condenser is quiet. It also took a while to cool my room and it wasn't that hot the day I tried it.

This item was purchased/sold as being new, but it was clearly used. It had multiple scratch marks on the bottom "feet" where it had made contact with what is likely the window sill, and residual glue and foam from where someone had removed a piece of foam insulation.

Piece of junk. Less than a month it was blowing hot air.Bought it from 3rd party through Walmart. What a pain.Don’t ever buy 3rd party from Walmart.

I would love to tell you all how this a/c worked but after struggling to get it in the window I discovered that the fan in it didnt work. You could hear it trying to work inside, doing something, but the fan never moved. Not a bit of air (cold or hot) ever came out of it. After a while the sides of it got very cold but still no air coming out. When you put it on fan mode the entire thing just went silent. Nothing. We carefully read the instructions to make sure we werent missing something. Even tried calling the phone number listed on it for help. In the end the a/c was returned. I do not recommend this product. But ifyou do buy it, definitely plug it in and try it before you install it !!!!!
