Sturdy, affordable and looks great in my son's bedroom! My husband put it together in about 15 minutes. My son loves the shelves, and I would purchase again.
It is nice and sturdy. Really can't beat that price. Even my printer is on the table and it is wonderful, enough space for my computer and gadgets.
Bought this to make into a vanity. Its the perfect size and was very easy to make!
First off, I expected this to be a cheaply made desk, and I even expected (but hoped to not see) manufacturing discrepancies. Bingo, and BINGO! Some things are worth paying more for. A small desk is one of those. But, it's all good. This desk fit the scope of a budget and for under $40 I hope it lasts at least a year. I carefully unboxed the pieces of this desk. There is a big corner chip on one board and uncountable scratches on a few other boards. All boards were very dusty and the very limited, cheap and thin styrofoam pieces (2) had shed all over every board. I had to wipe down every board and sweep my floor before I could begin following the (decent) assembly instructions. Luckily, no assembly pieces were missing and all pre-drilled holes were where the needed to be and with none missing. So, if you are on a budget and don't mind terribly cheap packaging methods which allow for product damage, this desk will work for you too.
This is a computer desk, but I would not recommend this to someone who has a desktop PC, because this desktop is not sturdy, the desktop wiggles. The setup of the desktop was confusing, because the instructions were not clearly explained, the items were not labeled correctly (stamped somewhere, you would have to search the product and hope it matches. This desktop is financially safe, but the product will not last forever with us.
Because the materials are flimsy, we knew that if we made a mistake, we may not be able to undo it without ruining the pressed wood. The assembly was challenging and the top shelf holes were not drilled in the right place so we had to use glue. Once assembled, the unit rocks when you use it even though all of the connections are tight. This desk won't last long once my college age grandson starts to use it.
This desk is not very sturdy. The poles are made of plastic! The maximum weight for the desk is roughly 20 pounds according to the enclosed instructions, however I don't trust that. I wouldn't put anything heavier than a laptop on it. The side shelves have weight restrictions as well. 10 pounds. The picture is deceiving. I purchased the desk for my 27" iMac. Needlessly to say this purchase turned out to be a bust. The weight restrictions should be listed in the item description. Fine for laptops. Terrible for desktops. Cheap materials.
You can use this for small spaces however this was incredibly difficult. The holes and screws didn't align so you'll have to drill new holes. The design is not balanced
didn't receive all the part
don't buy very cheaply made and very weak and wobbley
