Works great for any size dog. Really good for thick nails. The design provides good control and cuts clean to reduce injury when trimming nails. We had borrowed pair bought by family and just had to get a set of our own.

Did the job easily, no splitting of nails. They look better than a groomer left her brothers nails.

Absolutely LOVE the handles on this. Due to medical issues I have a hard time using the clippers with smaller handles. These were perfect. The length adjustment works great as well.

You can hold it and use this with accuracy. This is very well-built. It won't slip jam. I love it.

I bought at a pet store to cut my cat's nails. I purchased previous nail clippers before that were cheap and felt dull after a few uses. But, I decided to purchase them more expensive nail trimmer thinking how to get better results and cleaner cuts. But, I was wrong. This nail clipper does a great job with handling (EX: the opening and closing and feeling comfortable within your hand). But, fails to trim the nail. While trimming my cat's nails, I've noticed that these nail clippers are causing the nail to crack, split, and bend. Which causes them to bleed later on. I'm very cautious not to cut too far but, somehow it still manages to do harm to the nail. Hopefully I can send this back and get a refund.

A zero rating was not one of the choices. They just slide off my lab's nails, will not bite and cut the nail. The contact form would not let me submit a question. I called and I felt that the gentleman was somewhat short with me. I am returning them to the store.

Used these twice on my dog. The second time I had to stop. They are not cutting, they are shattering the nail. I will not use them again.

I purchased this with high hopes that the most expensive nail cutters would out preform everything else. Boy was I wrong. After one clip the bladed parts separated rendering them useless. No matter how hard I try to fix it they just keep pulling apart...
