GCI Outdoor Kickback Rocker Low Profile Rocking Camp Chair, Heathered Loden

I purchased this identical chair four years ago, and it gets frequent use on camping trips. It has held up perfectly, works just the same today as the day I bought it. Bought one to give as a gift, and Walmart had the best price around. It was delivered the day after I ordered, in perfect condition.

Let’s start with the obvious, this chair is super comfortable! It’s wide and because of the rocker feature, you’re able to sit at the proper back angle. I’m a 66 year old male with epic back issues and this chair is perfect for me. Next, it’s easier to open and close than the typical kids sports watching chairs. No bag to maneuver, just an easy strap to secure to hold it in place to transport with the handy shoulder strap. Everyone should own one of these!

This chair is really comfortable. It's a little heavy but the carrying strap makes it easier. The phone holder is really snug. Love the colors and pattern.

A lot of the rocker type lawn chairs have weird pouch as their cupholder so I like that this is a real cupholder in the arm rest. Compared to other rocker styles, that when folded are still very large because they seem to basically fold in half, this one is much more convenient, but it does feel a little less sturdy but I used it through two grandson baseball seasons this year and it held up fine. For reference, I am 5'6”, 145lbs. It also sits lower to the ground than an average lawn chair. Not as low as a beach chair, but lower than, I believe, any other lawn chair I've ever sat in. It is still a nice chair.

One leg bolt fell out in a few months but it was still usable. The second bolt just fell out 2 months shy of 1 year owning it and now it's unusable. I contacted the GCI for a warranty claim. We will see what they say.

My husband has said in his chair twice and the second time He used it. The yellow piece that holds the chair together when you fold it up completely popped off. We have used these shirts forever and this is never happened.

Chair was smaller than it appeared online

It is a lot lower than I thought it would be. Not sure what the material is it is made from, but it feels like plastic material not a canvas. It also had a bird fly over and deposited on it. I have scrubbed, used several different cleaners, and hosed it down. Will not remove the stain. I should have returned it. Not a fan.
